Thanks for the comment! This is a feature of CEREC MCXL and MCX mills. It is done by the CEREC Chairside software. Interestingly not in the Primemill as I think it is not recommended due to the risk of chipping when the crown falls off.

For same-day dentistry limited to quadrants - yes! It is still an acceptable scanner. However these days for an impression replacement device, there are vastly better options and you could even look into combining Medit / TRIOS with MCX/MCXL mill
