The thing about VHS is that the tape itself will deteriorate over time. The later into the 90s before DVDs completely took over, the quality of the tape got a bit better. I just don't see the collectibility of VHS beyond picking up a $1-2 tape (or cheaper) at a flea market because the box art looks cool.

@@jarredkrum9894 They've probably been ripped online somewhere. Not being available on DVD doesn't make the VHS tape any more durable. It will eventually break down and stop working.

FYI, old cans of soda can leak through. I had a 7 year old can of coke on my work desk and the coke decided to desolve some of the aluminum and it leaked on on my desk. It was untouched for years.

Things like the small TV was a nobility at the time but once you showed it off to your friends it got old fast. Nowadays you can do the same thing and much much more on a iPhone.

Rick! I live in Northwest Arkansas, about 15 miles north of Fayetteville. This is the home of Walmart so there is a lot of disposable money in the area and our resale shops are packed. Some game x changes display stuff on the floor cuz they so packed. You should check out Rogers, Bentonville area. It’s about 3 hours from Conway

Eight Men Out is a great movie. One of the most underrated. Baseball fans know about it, but it came out in the late 1980’s and got lost between films like Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Major League … its about the 1919 Chicago “Black-Sox” scandal were the team was “bought” by gamblers to lose the World Series. They were Bitter and hated the owner as he was a cheapskate and way under paid his players, wouldn’t honor contract payouts… Comiskey was a prick…..
