I drive a 2005 Chevy Malibu that u bought for $2800 2 years ago and it’s been totaled by insurance because someone stole it; insurance gave me $2k after I kept the car so for $800 plus another $500 in maintenance I’ve driven for 2 years. These decisions are why I’m able to spend so much investing in real estate. I’m only 31 btw

And behave in exactly the same way. In the field that I work in I am berated daily for just being female but it rarely bothers me. Once every few years their are extremely chilling words exchanged, where it gets to me or someone has been truly victimized by a female and it makes me feel very sad because I cannot help him in a professional context but can only refer him to other areas where they are often resistant to assistance because they have genuinely been let down by the system rather than it being a facade.

I got more than I asked for in the divorce because he behaves like this chump. The dumbest thing he did was send me emails where he admitted to stalking me, and saying that he was watching me through a rifle scope he "borrowed from a friend". In our state, he's not allowed to own guns because of his history of DV with his former wives. In our state, one is not allowed to share recorded or written communications without the permission of both parties. He knew that loophole, so he used it to send me "nastygrams", telling me to kill myself and other lovely things. I never responded to any of it, I went "grey rock" after he left and he moved in with a side chick he'd cheated on me with for 15 years.😏 So, I didn't tell him that that rule has exceptions. If those communiques involved a criminal act, let's say, stalking and pointing a rifle at me (even though I wasn't aware until he TOLD me) then YES! Those communiques become evidence. I CCed my attorney, she shared his threats with the judge. The judge determined it was not safe for me to be in the same room with him, not even a courtroom, so our attorneys were instructed to work out the details without us appearing in court. I got the house and alimony, and when he retires, I get half his retirement from Disneyland. He's worked there for 44 years, and makes over $100,000 a year. He gets to stay the hell away from me. Seems fair!😉 As soon as he dies, or I remarry, the alimony stops. I'm not even dating and haven't in the past 7 years. I've decided I'm not really the marrying kind after all.
