That must be some shitty half ass mechanic. If I was a mechanic selling, what I think, is a junk car, and someone is willing to try to fix it and has enough integrity to pay me a fair price if they manage to fix it, I'd take them up on it. Because what do you really have to lose at that point? Either way, you're getting rid of the car and making some money off of it.

Do they have the money for a hotel? And are his friends willing to let her inside? I mean, if my "friend" who I haven't seen or been close to in years (potentially for good reasons that I haven't been close), why should I let the significant other in? The husband needs to be forward with his spouse. But it might just be that the friend doesn't trust the friends judgement in partners for reasonable reasons.

Story 4: yeah, in the USA family courts are insanely slanted in the woman favor always. It's so insane that the family courts will ordered that an abusive mother still have visitation even if she had been sent to jail for having abused her children. One of my cousins had to wage a half decade long court battle to finally have his ex-wife stripped of visitation rights after multiple investigated and proven reports of her abusing his kids. She went to jail twice for it and yet the social workers still were pushing her to get visitation rights.

MY brother got full custody of his son when his ex was found to be unfit. Her house was trash, she was doing dominatrix (plus extra) work in the home, living with a 2-time felon (dog fighting) that was barred from owning dogs, yet they were raising pit-bulls, and drugs were found in the home. He went to pick his son up from daycare and they had all ready turned him over to the mother. Years later, with the help of a private investigator, they found her living across the state. Legally she had kidnapped him, but they state declined to press charges. My brother fought for the return of his son, but she fought it in court until he aged out of the system at 18.

I can relate to that first story. Being a mechanic myself, I like looking for cars for sale. I found myself a 1969 Dodge Charger (like the General Lee) that supposedly had a blown head gasket and the transmission was shot. The guy only asked a thousand for it. I messaged him and bargained with him that if i could get it running, I'll take it for half price. He agreed. The next day, i went down to his shop, and the car looked amazing. Turns out, he was dead wrong. The only thing wrong with the transmission was that the gear timing was off because the gears weren't the right size. As for the Engine? Not a single problem other than not enough gas. I told the guy I got it running, and he demanded $50,000.. I'm like: "F you buddy" so I gave him the $1000 (decided to be nice) and drive off. I still have that charger to this day..

They called two days later asking for the money back but I reminded them they signed a receipt saying it didn't run and that I told them it didn't. They then tried harassing me but I informed them I was a law enforcement officer at the time, I'm retired now, so they finally left me alone when I threatened to charge them. Both myself and my father both have personally stories very close to the 1st story. Although in both of our cases we both got kinda screwed and didn't get our cars. In my father's story one his work associates bet my dad $100 that he couldn't fix his old Ford pickup with a weird engine vacuum problem that my dad was able to fix in 20 minutes. The guy didn't honor that bet. And in my case I was able to track down a mysterious electrical problem in a 3 year old Mazda my aunt decided to sell to me for a few hundred. I bought that car for my mother to help her get back on her feet after my step dad died. We had an agreement that mom would pay me back and give me the car once she got back on her feet. Well, it took 2 days of work but I was able to correct a serious of electrical faults that were causing the issues. First off my aunt tried to go back on the deal since I basically only paid $400 for a car she paid almost $10K for. But the title was already in my moms name by that time. But I never even got my $400 or the car, because about a year and a half later my mom remarried and the guy she married decided to just sell the car I was letting my mom use _and_ my teenage brothers cars. Because Clint was kind of a POS and mom was too much a doormat to stand up to him. Both the Mazda and a car my little brother car were in her name so it was our word against hers.

Story 2: first mistake, working for McDonald's. I was verbally threatened, overworked, and mentally abused while working there. I even got extremely sick one day and was told I had to finish out my shift. For information, I was described as being white as a sheet and I was nearly blacking out as I requested a moment to go to the bathroom. Upon reaching it, I prayed to the porcelain goddess as they say for 10 minutes. I almost didn't get permission to do this and my vision was getting dark as I spoke to the manager and while in the bathroom. Once I came back, I explained my situation and they said I should finish out my shift. Yes it was only 1 hour to 30 minutes, but were talking about I just got very sick at work and I worked directly with the food. I was allowed to do some minor tasks in the break area until I left and had no leaving chores, but I felt uncomfortable they wanted me anywhere near that kitchen, and I still had to return the following day. I was better within an hour or so of the incident, so my family figured I got too hot while at work which is very uncommon for me. I was often berated for being too slow, and I was but I had never worked before and I don't agree with the speed over quality and accuracy idea that McDonald's has. Make the food right the first time, not completely wrong and too quickly because you want to service over 50 people a day.

The judge said since he has been paying for so long he was a defacto parent so he needed to keep paying or go to jail. He went to jail over it several times because he refused to get a normal job and have his wages garnished. Eventually he started his own painting business and it took him years to pay back the back pay so he could get licensed and bonded. He had to pay until the kid turned 18 never got a dime back.

He then stormed off and management had a talk with me on how it was my fault any of this happen. About a week later he got his friend to sign up and they made my life a living hell in that work place. They both would actively criticize me for being Jewish and make fun at the fact I wanted to join the military which I signed on to the Marine Corp. They would actively harass me in front of my managers who did nothing but tell him to stop. It wasn't until my coworker walked out and later his friend found out and blamed it on me. I told my shift manager who I'm really good friends with that she needs to stop this as this has been going on for far too long. She said she'll right up my coworker which she did and as a result the next day this guy walked out on his shift. It amazes me that during this time McDonald's management refused to do anything. My manager fought non stop to try and get them both fired but it wasn't until they did something that hurt management that got them fired. McDonald's is a shit hole and I don't recommend it as a first job or a job to go career with. They pay poorly and will hire literally anyone including criminals who have a very bad criminal record. I still happen to work there as my schedule is a lot stricter so I can't get a new job at the moment, but this company truly fucking sucks. I have so many fucked up work stories about this company too. I've been there 2 years almost 2.5 years and it's just a massive shit hole.

I just realized in the child support story when they say the child isn't his the captions say "That is not hers," but then says audibly "that is not his," 16:52 for time frame

That's his fault for not listening to you in the first place so good for you with not paying attention to what he says and I'd definitely never get my vehicle fixed by him. How is this kid still working there? He'd be fired ASAP just because of the attitude he's giving everyone else in the restaurant.

And I really mind-blowing thing is to do the bath if he paid her $150 a week for three years that means she'll have to pay him $25 a week for 18 years in order for the man to get his money back that is so unbelievably wrong he should have gotten an attorney and pursued it further right after the judgment it should have never been allowed to go on so long

That Kyle guy reminds me of a guy I use to work with my coworker was extremely rude and arrogant. This guy was constantly complaining about this or that, example we had a customer who changed their order after this guy started their food and yelled loudly that it didn’t make sense why the customer would do that, this guy claimed he never swore but in the next and previous sentences he swore and he was finally fired after he grabbed a female coworkers wrist she called the gm and the gm came in a few minutes later and fired him on the spot
