Once again we see someone who is willing to put themselves in harms way because they feel that no one will hurt them in front of a church in broad daylight. They really dont teach the bible, more like the book of mormon. I visited one a while back and the bible or any of the chapters were rarely discussed. They also talked about dress code(no short dresses, very little makeup), no alcohol ,smoking, caffiene,etc. Tithing was a major discussion. I think maybe 1 to 3 years ago, they bought millions of dollars in coca cola stocks but yet no caffeine is allowed. Really weird religion. But the "female" in the short dress, must be the bishops side piece. Never know.

People like this are the reason people like myself stay away from organized religion, there is no place in the bible that says that in order to be 'saved' and go to heaven you have to join a cult, like the LDS, or any other religious group. According to the bible you get to heaven by confessing that Jesus Christ is lord and savior and died for our sins, that's it, that's all, none of this hocus pocus religious groups or rituals are a ticket to heaven and yet I get this impression that this is what they actually believe and go to church for all dressed up like going to a ball. Smfh.

Don't judge all churches by the actions of non-Christian cults like these mormons. And don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. The Bible commands Christians to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. The assembly is the church. We are to gather together to worship and praise the Lord who saved us, and to hear the preaching of His word, and to propagate the gospel to the lost. Can't do that sitting at home.

As a pastor who had to deal with government infringing on freedom of religion a few years back I believe that clergy should know the rights of we the people. And should be supporting those fighting for rights.
