Another big difference is they actually invest in companies like this and don't just wait for a golden ticket to be handed to them . Also they all have significantly more money than these so called sharks . Mark Cuban could wipe his ass with all their Bank accounts and still be fine.

This is an unbelievable product I wish these were around when my two kids were young as finding footwear for the beach (especially reefy / rocky beaches) was a pain in the ass if not impossible.

I jumped onto their website, and their prices are in USD which would suggest they have traction in the US. They've also expanded their range to include sandals. Looks like a great product, and I'm staggered that none of the Sharks invested.

They need some different/more sharks on this show, maybe ones with a lot more money to work with... Because these sharks rarely ever actually invest in anything, and if they do actually make a deal, they just withdraw their offer when the cameras are off.

I grew up in Minnesota with my family owning a cabin and so had lots of experience in the water and so on. As kids we always had cheap aqua shoes that worked quite well and cost maybe 1/3 of what these do. I think this neoprene option would have difficulty competing.

The sharks blew this one. This is year round product in Florida and other southern states. Great product, there’s a need and parents would kill to protect their kids. This has potential to explode, especially on QVC. Blew it big time sharks.

@@11yolkel Yes exactly! And I think that goes for all of them, not just Andrew. None of them want to take ANY risk at all, but that is exactly what an investment is, taking a risk/chance. Its too late to invest in the horse AFTER it has passed the winning post. Like you said, "No Guts".

Nice product, but....... It's not seasonal, it's always summer somewhere on the planet. Winter in Australia, Summer in America and vice versa. It's cost too much. Toddlers/ kids don't wear out clothing. They out grow it and this is a prime candidate for a cheap knockoff. I wish them the best.

Exactly. Everyone is saying the product is great. Sure they’re nice shoes but i will never pay $35 for a pair of shoes for a 2 year old. I just looked and there are 100 other shoes like this for $10-12. By time they are worn out my child will be in a bigger size and even if he needed another pair I can get two pairs for cheaper than $35. Quality is not very important with small children clothes.

You can buy similar shoes for toddlers made from the same material for $2 in pretty much every market and shoe stall/shop here all over Thailand and have been available here for years and years...and so for that reason i'm out.

Not sure why no one invested in this one. The ask (i.e. valuation and proposed equity stake) was modest, the profits were good, the product is good, there's already momentum in Australia, online and in the US...what more can you want? How is it too early? The whole point of the show is to invest in businesses at their level. Maybe some flaw was left out of the edit? Seems bizarre to me.

Steve baxter and Andrew Banks are net worth 100 milish more the debroah meaden or jenny campbell. Fashion is just a super risky business. There's nothing to stop a big fashion brand starting up their own brand if the market is there, so the execution risk is to high
