I still refuse to believe that all of this will end in 8 days. The fandom will slowly die, the cast will drift apart and my life won't be the same again. After season 3 I don't know how i'll be able to exist.

Hi,how are you after the end of YR? I am still saying goodbye and i am watching it again and again. And i did not expect this great and heartwarming ending. YR will be in our hearts forever but it is really hard to deal with that it is over for good now.
Edvin wears eclectic high fashion clothing impeccably! He simply looks the part. More importantly, his mind is quick and astute. From everything I have ever seen of him, he is very kind. A beautiful Soul.
It’s interesting that Edvin has actually confirmed here for the first time in public that he and Omar are just friends in real life and have not had an intimate relationship outside the TV studios. I mean we all knew that anyway, but at least he has confirmed it here in public.
I think it may be because he was caught off guard and he is not in a controlled interview with his / the show's publicist overseeing the interview. Irma, though I am sure is lovely, asked some really inappropriate questionas. I mean, imagine if he was gay (I don't know his sexual orientation) she would have really been putting him on the spot. I'm surprised more people haven't reacted to her questions.
@@quadboxshe didn’t ask him about his sexuality, just if he’s in love with Omar irl, and we already knew the answer to that question. He could still be queer and not in love with his costar lol but that wasn’t the question. Also costars are asked this stuff all the time in “straight” movie/tv couples.
@@quadbox that’s not what you said, you’re talking about her trying to “out” him which is just silly and not at all what happened. She honestly just seems astounded that Edvin made out with such a gorgeous guy and somehow didn’t fall in love 😂🤣
@@belpop Please show me where I wrote she was trying to "out" him. I said that it was putting him on the spot. Also, yes I can agree that Omar is gorgeous, but she didn't say that. You sure like to put words into people's mouths. Just say you don't know what creating a safe space for lgbtqia+ is and move on.
These two young men made this old man cry. Such a beautiful and emotional love story, that reminded me of my own trials and tribulations growing up gay in a straight world, and being unable to embrace the possibility of love due to the circumstances of those times. So this show has been like re-imagining my life as I wish it had been when I was in school. Bravo to the producers and all involved in creating “Young Royals”.
the part where he talks about acting since 5 years old and being on sets.. feeling like he "lost his childhood" probably has a lot to do with shaping himself into the incredible person he is today. hes always great in interviews and i think that is probably a lot to do with him having to mature faster than most people when it comes to his profession.

I also think it is that combined with his immediate network of family and friends he's surrounded with and how they encouraged him to pursue and complete formal education. he's also spoken about the wide exposure and research he's had in his upbringing for his personal life and for work. he's a star in every sense of the word and then some more
@@quadbox the only downside to that is their film industry is nowhere near as large as the US (and their global reach). it doesn't matter though, he could be anywhere and his work will still be recognised. he definitely has the greater shot of "making it big" if he wants more publicity if he was to move to the US.

Solo una precisión, Latinoamérica no está tan resagada en el tema de derechos LGBT, no hay opresión desde el estado, tal vez haya algunas cosas que cambiar socialmente pero, no es como en paises donde definitivamente está prohibido. Lo digo porque infirieron que el éxito de este lado se debe a ello y no es el caso. En Latinoamérica hay shows LGBT y han tenido relevancia, hay algunos muy buenos. Creo que hay yna audiencia que ya se acostumbró a ver ese tipo de shows.

Me refiero a la tensión que había entre ellos, Edvin era muyyyy obvio como lo miraba y se perdía en sus labios, y el contacto físico muy evidente. Creo que ambos sintieron algo , pero por cuestiones de la vida nunca lo sabremos. Y lo único que se es que la química que se veía entre ellos fuera de ,no la veo por ningún lado con tu actual novia

Definitely not happening, we already have loads of spoilers out and this is definitely not happening. They aren't introducing any new characters in S3 aside from guest characters like a school inspector.
I'm saying this not to go against anyone's thoughts or theories, but EVERYONE needs to seriously consider the fact that any actor(including E&O)are never going to out themselves if anything did happen(casual or relationship). Especially since they see how crazy their fan base is now, it would be extreme chaos for them in the public. To the point where they would disappear completely just to have a life. So in the meantime just go with what your imagination gives you and wait an see what time gives us. Keep in mind people change all the time, nothing is ever permanent. ETERNAL CONNECTION IS NEVER BROKEN (RINGS)!
Okay but he has a girfriend probably, ofc it doesn't define his orientation, but you should consider other facts too.For example the fact,that it is said by many that he has a girlfriend since like 2023 and Omar was in relationship too and that was a long relationship(it ended like in november 2023), so I can say even if he and Edvin would be in relationship it would be a very short relationship lol and definitely not in 2022,2023 or 2024, so it kinda leave us only 2021, which is also questionable. They have great chemistry in the show, but without the spotlight of yr they seem kinda distant,as I am kinda in fandom I can say we waited so long for even the smallest interaction between them, I have fear they'll even stop interacting at all when they show will end or at least in public/social media so we wouldn't even know if they would contact each other lol.

There was a TikTok video last summer showing Edvin and his co-actor Felicia Maxime with their luggage boarding a small private jet to travel to some destination on a summer break. So, the general consensus of opinion is that they were at that time (and maybe still are) having an intimate relationship. Now, going back to the Edvin/Omar possible relationship, I really think that Edvin was very attracted to Omar at the beginning, but I also think that the feeling wasn’t reciprocated (Omar was in a relationship with someone else at the time). So, with the passage of time, sadly, the boys have moved on with their work and personal lives and naturally with their other commitments have now met up with different people. I’m sure that Edvin and Omar still keep in contact via social media and occasional meet-ups, but less frequently maybe. But any close relationship that they did have has now cooled I would suggest and they have moved on. It was bound to happen really. Those are my thoughts on the situation anyway.
@@showmoke The fact that they didn't promote Young Royals 3 also played a big role. And although Edvin is in a relationship, he has become more mature and serious in his interviews. You are right, his relationship with Omar is no longer the same. He is in a relationship and in love so that changes someone. He wants to keep this relationship secret and lasting and that can be understood because he was afraid of being alone. I think he also wants to break away from the Young Royals universe and let us see his other acting skills. I sincerely hope that he enjoys his youth and that his friendship with Omar will not disappear and that he will always keep a place in his heart. Edvin will always have roles, will continue to do what he loves but it will definitely be more difficult for Omar because although he is an artist, Young Royals was his first acting role and then he was very emotionally affected when the series ended.
@@shelbywilliamson963 - I didn't realise that Omar was 'emotionally affected' at the end of series 3. Where you did hear that? Did Omar admit to that in an interview then? I'm a bit disappointed to hear Omar say that he would rather do more with his musical career than his acting career. It reminded me of Troye Sivan who also said the same thing. Pity, because both Omar and Troye have the potential of becoming great actors.
