Présentation de l'entrevue avec Gorguts à l'émission Solidrok avec la belle animatrice Geneviève Borne. Le 10 juin 1993 à MusiquePlus. Steeve Hurdle - Tribute (15/8/1971 - 20/5/2012)
0:31 Talking about their previous show, which happened in Montreal at around the same time that the Montreal Canadiens (hockey team) won the Stanley Cup. So it was definitely a very charged show. 1:54 Luc introduces the band (joking about how they're all named Steve "I might change my name to Steve too"). 2:07 Talking about how they're all from Sherbrooke (except MacDonald, who is from Quebec City). Talk about how they enjoy living in Sherbrooke cause it's quieter and gives them the peace needed to write music. If they were to live in the city, they might be too distracted by it instead of playing more guitar. Saying how even though it's not right in the city, they're still close enough to have contacts (for shows and such). 2:55 Talking about their latest European tour with Blasphemy. They played in 8 countries (Austria, Sweden, England, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, etc). Copenhagen was one of their favorites (crazy show, lots of stagediving). They got to go to Amsterdam on their day off and really liked it too (laughing about that one). 3:24 Discussing which countries had bigger affinity for metal. All agree on Sweden, but Lemay says it depends on the country as well: for instance, Sweden and Germany liked black metal more, and had bigger reactions for Blaspemy, but other countries had more for Gorguts. 3:47 Differences between how Europeans enjoy metal compared to North America/Quebec. More stagediving, maybe more intense or at the very least enjoy it differently. Hurdle says Europeans stay more within their own space/bubbles at shows. Lemay mentions someone cutting himself during Blasphemy in Fribourg. 4:10 Talk about their upcoming shows in Quebec: july 2nd in Coaticook, July 3rd in Rimouski, other shows to be confirmed soon. 4:31 Host asks if they would like to play a special request song for their program. All suggest Morbid Angel - Blessed are the Sick.
