Hi, the software itself is 2D, but you have the ability to map 3D projects, using the 3D mapping section. For example, if your project goes through a tunnel, then you can map your lights to start at one end and flow to the other end of the tunnel. This is a 3D structure, so mapping this using 2D software would be hard. Therefore, the 3D section in ELM makes that heaps easier/possible.
