I just ordered it. I have 2 ebony mini (30 inch) guitaleles in ebony and I need to see if this one is as loud. I used Plectrum strings on my other Enya and it is perfection because I also replaced the lower bridge to get the intonation right in the second octave. I really need this Enya to give my first one a break from playing so much.
This little guitar is a bit bigger than a guitalele. I still want a 2 inch wide nexk version of this and I'd be in heaven! It's great though definitely the guitar I am going to travel with now, barely takes up any space and super light. And the bridge on this model I have is not compensated it's just a regular bridge, it could be modified easily, though, with some basic tools, I think.
Thank you! I don't know the exact gages but they felt pretty standard. I think if you wanted thicker strings by chance, it would still work without modification.
