AVFC have been linked to young Argentine Enzo Barrenechea, but what exactly can Villa fans expect? #premierleague #football #soccer #AVFC #Juve #Juventus
Only heard about this kid days ago and the more I hear about him the more I feel happier he's coming to villa, some of these young players unai is bringing into the squad is really positive and hopefully they repay the faith he's shown in them and become great players for us, unai clearly has a plan in place for these player additions to the club and seems to be identifying traits in them he wants to add to the club, fingers crossed they kick on and become top players and help villa become a real force
Wow! Lovely words, thank you so much! Good Luck for the upcoming season, if you would like to know about any other player don’t hesitate to reach out 🙏
Great insight on Enzo. Gets me thinking if he would be the cover or competition for Kamara that we been looking for. Sounds like a kid with a high ceiling
Agreed! I think Emery is looking to add a little more steal in the middle of the pitch but with someone who can play too with you having UCL football! Thanks for your input and time watching 🙏
Loved that! and music to my ears. I was always critical of Luiz for lack of tackling and particularly tracking or giving up on his man so Enzo would be a lifesaver in chance prevention and retaining possession. Thanks Antonio! 👏
I think we've dodged a bullet with not getting Mckennie as part of the swap deal with Douglas Luiz to Juventus,i got the feeling that it wasn't popular from a large section of the Villa fan base, but this lad Enzo looks great with alot of potential & with Kamara out injured till probably November a good CDM is really needed,so this young talent might be playing straight away & from what I've seen/heard i like the idea personally, great in depth analysis Mango, you're getting popular yourself amongst the Villa faithful with these kinda Vids. Fair play! Top man...... up the mighty Villa!!!! 😊
Excellent breakdown Antonio, Much appreciated. A lot of the attributes you mention and his weaknesses make me wonder if his profile is more similar to that of Kamara than it is of Luiz?
Thanks for watching and kind words. I see your thinking, I think he’s very similar to Kamara, I think Emery is looking for 1. More depth without reducing aspects or attributes of individuals. 2. More control over games. I think midfielders that arrive will all be this similar ilk from now on
WOW, Well done Antonio 👏 A very comprehensive analysis of a player, i'm sure will be a success at my club, Aston Villa. Douglas Luiz has been a great player and servant to us....BUT, where he fails to impress is defensively, his tackling and positional awareness, leaves a lot to desire..... Just watching a few clips of Enzo, I've seen something in him that we have lacked for too long, in that position. The excitement lies, in the fact , that under Unai Emery's coaching and tuition, he'll become even better, and be a massive success at our club.... Your assessment of Enzo has further supported, my own thoughts. Again, well done Antonio.
Exactly. He does differ from Luiz slightly but what fascinated me aside from his defensive play, was Enzo was providing more forward passes in a worst team, Emery could be looking at that to ply quicker in transition moments! I think under Emery’s leadership and elite coaching you could have hit a solid gem!
Great stuff, thanks very much for the rundown. Makes me feel a lot more confident about Enzo being included in the deal (given I literally only first heard of him 2-3 days ago!).
@@eamonnconnor8992 same reason why clubs are now selling academy players for profit. Also, Juventus have never really put trust in youth. They offload loads all the time
@@carlmcclatchie2122 thank you mate, and that’s for your time watching! Hope you learnt a little along the way. Good Luck on your UCL adventure and season ahead! UTV 🟣🔵
Exactly, plus I’ve always found Villa a fascinating club (in a good way). Hopefully you guys continue to watch even if it doesn’t involve Villa because your football fans too! Started a video on Kellyman, with him going from Villa that could interest you too! Thank you very much for watching mate! UTV
Great insight. Hope it comes off. Luiz came to Villa 1 year younger and he improved a lot in the last 4 years. Deal improved markedly for me including barranchea rather than McKinnie.
As a Villa fan i'm hopeful this guy & junior come good given time & elite coaching under Unai & his staff. Loosing Douglas Luiz is a slap around the chops & I'm struggling too see this transfer favouring Villa,i think we're selling far too cheap going on the cost of top level midfielders nowadays, but hopefully i can look back & believe Villa got a great deal if the 2 players in the swap + cash €25 million show real ability over a number of seasons, with transfermarkt values for Enzo & Mckennie the player that was meant too be coming out way. Mckennies/Enzo's value is €28/7.5 million, that's a €20.5 million difference & we're only getting an extra €5 million on top of the original €20 million which seems at face value to favor Juventus far more than Villa, but i trust Unai/Monchi to do what's best for Villa & they know all the details way better than any of us fans.
I feel this I can’t lie but you can’t deny Luiz importance to Villa, he’s been outstanding and EVERY transfer is a gamble so I understand. Personally, I’d ask for more money instead of Weston. But in terms of profile and quality, for the swap deal you won’t find better than Enzo IMO!
Brilliant breakdown. I have to say I am very excited to see what he can do. Especially considering attacking talent at Villa's disposal with Ramsey, Rogers, and Buendia down the left and Watkins, Bailey, and Diaby higher up the pitch and on the right flight.
I think when Kamara comes back from injury I could definitely see Emery utilising two defensive minded players in Kamara and Enzo when up against teams with decent AM's
@@AntonioMangoMedia Absolutely! As a sidebar, I host a podcast about discovering other people's hobbies. Wouldn't mind learning about the ins and outs of how you got started and where you'd like to go for an episode in season 2!
Enjoyed the video dude and now at least I feel more aware of a player I’d never heard of. Even your dog seemed excited by the prospect…keep them coming and UTV
@@connellmchugh4943 hahaha I thought I’d get away with the dog barking 😂 thanks man, please you enjoyed it! literally got one coming out about Michael Kayode tonight if you’re interested!
Thank you for your thorough and impressive analysis. You confirmed and reinforced what I had heard about him. The combination of Enzo's talents, experience and as importantly in my opinion his attitude and character will stand him in good stead as he settles into the Prem and its challenges. I have learned recently how Italians like their players to be knowledgeable about the game vs being instinctual (true?) Either way, the fact that he does and has serious focus will help him mature under Emery's coaching. I am really looking forward to seeing him develop and I have a feeling he is going to enjoy the physicality and challenge of the Prem. Right place, right time as they say...
You make him sound like a world beater - I understand he is full of potential but certainly unproven at the highest level. Excited to see what Emery can develop him into but can’t see he is there yet. UTV
I didn’t say he was there … literally talked about his instincts and how he asks on the pitch. How you make of that is your opinion if that makes sense buddy. I honestly do think if he settles, you’re getting a top player under an elite manager. Makes for a good combo! 🙏
@@blooms1874 thanks man. For sure man, gives Emery more options and dimensions. Think Villa are going places, Good Luck for the season pal. Any recommendations you want to know about players, just ask and I’ll make a video 😂
Great in depth video. Music to the ears of us villa fans. Sounds like he will be a great addition, can fill in for kamara until hes back and possibly alongside him. Looks like he has a high ceiling for progression aswell. Utv
