The remote control comes in handy when making amp or processor adjustments when your HU isn't within arm's reach of where the amp/processors are located. Other than that... yeah, it's pretty useless.
hello, i think i have a missing cable or something. There is nowhere to connect the cable from the screen and my lcd display is not working. Can someone help me with link to show me what else i should buy to display the clock, air condition etc.
zerohere Oops I forgot to include that. Here is the instructions directly from Eonon: Firstly please write down the system information and all the data of the factory settings of your unit. It is very important to record these data before upgrade. 1). Extract it and copy "update.img" to a blank SD card formatted as FAT32. 2). Power Off the head unit 3). Insert the SD card to the GPS SD SLOT (yes, it should be GPS slot) 4). Enter Settings----About machine，click System updates 5). The head unit detect the upgrade software, and then click confirm to upgrade it.(Click the "Wipe data and format flash!" icon) Attention: Please do not power off and do not take out of SD card during update. It may take 5 minutes for update, so please pay more patience on it. And please follow the way to update it strictly.
hey quick question, i downloaded the file for the firmware update and i was wondering if i need to name the file "update.img" in order for the system to recognize it? or is it ok with the name that it was given?
Quality wise, it seems just as good if not better. One problem though, high pitched but quiet hissing!! If you can't deal with that, don't buy the unit.

Yatta Man turn your engine on, not ignition, you need your actual engine running. Hold menu on the steering wheel until you hear it beep, then you adjust the time by holding the down button on the steering wheel and you can adjust with the up and down buttons.

Yeah you can, same thing you hold the menu button on the steering wheel and then I can't quite remember but you either press up or down or menu again and one of them will change what the display is showing. Give it a go and you will find out how, just hold the menu button until it beeps and then try some buttons.
s1d3k1ckRO It's not the best on this unit, I found Bluetooth audio would skip and glitch. I recommend getting the newer GA6151, you can see my video of the new one on my channel.
