@@pacificpational2626 Not really, however it is a common gitch for these sirons to voice crack, studder and go higher than their aspost too as these sirons are over 40 years old. They're not really ment to do this but due to the age of the siron the components can malfunction and cause all sorts of weird glotches.

​@@dogs-and-destruction-channel Nope. It's meant to do that, Tone 1 Peaks at 850HZ, Tone 2 Peaks at 1000HZ. They do that so it can have a better warning signal time.

@v10-ACR-E Actually this EOWS's High tone peaks at 1050hz and Low tone peeks at 860hz, but however the EOWS have a built in transistor that allows you to change the tones between 450hz to an ear piercing 2150 hz and another one that changes the start clip peek where the tones won't play until the hz are above a set level and cut out when it reaches the minimum tone peek. I agree with you that some sirons are programmed to do this pitch shift, however in earlier models of the EOWS 612 and the EOWS 1212, it was actually a glitch that caused this pitch shift. The company later found out that people responded better to this shift and it also travelled further too and it was more accurate to the real sirons that can do this like the Thunderbolts T range, so they now program the sirons and a few other models to do this tone shift in Alternate Wail and Pulse Wail. Same reason why they reinstated the wind up and spool down tones on some of the newer electronic speaker sirons.

It's not a 612, it's a modulator, however they use the same soundcard.

@@_3y in 2020/2021 Chicago decided to change Policy for their system leading them to only sound in Attack/Wail for ALL sirens. Around the same time siren heads fame was at its peak, but Chicago blamed it on the "systems age". Do you think that the Policy change was due to Siren Head or the Systems age? I believe Siren Head bullcrap was the reason.
