Xavier Savedra at night, than noticing you are the only one around, seeing movement, than hearing something rushing at you just to finally realize. The siren isn’t coming from the town sirens, But behind you.
Would be cool if the Emergency Alert System operations would still use 640 and 1240 for any major alerts like Hurricane, Tsunami, Tornado, Nuclear Attack, Your Mom wants you to go to your room, ETC
This particular tone (Alternate Wail) is used to warn the public for incoming hurricanes, flood, moon tides, evacuations..etc. The modulators in Manasquan NJ use a different tone for first aid/fire..same siren.
We use the normal wail here in Washington. Unfortunately where I live in Seattle we don't have any. We have old fashioned Chrysler Bells but they don't work. The one closet to me was actually refurbished to a nice lookin state. But if you want sirens they dot the coast and Rainer Mountain Range.
@@trevormacewan Hello, future me! I just happen to stubble on this comment again... I was retarded because at that point I was just getting back into Sirens again and I knew very little. I know a lot now and I have to say I've heard many modulators test on the North coast and this is normal sounding for the Alternate Wail Tone
@@Uncertified_Legend Siren head does not make that noise as people just edited for it, This modulator still runs the same sound card as the one in chicago. which as a Thunderbolt Modulator.
Cash, Don't forget that other counties uses Alternate wail for different things. Like In Chicago, They used Alternate wail from a Modulator for a Tornado warning in 2006.
@eows812sirenproductions4 To be honest, I am not the biggest fan of EOWS, I like the sounds of the MC controller a lot more than Siratone. I feel like Siratone's alternating wail is rushed, I am thinking of a T-Bolt 1003 doing the same and I would still prefer the MC controller. EOWS sounds better with an MC controller
False Chicago uses thunderbolts modulators and 2001s. Chicago doesn't use the Eows sirens because they are against city noise reguations, mounting regulations, and height regulations.
Cooooll! I love mods and EOWS sirens and I am happy that there are some in NJ! I like 10 minutes away from where this vid was taken. Along the beach there are many of these. In red bank there is an EOWS 612 with an MC controller. As well as n Eaton town there are two EOWS 612's. there are many mods by me and the beach as well!
Hey, Irene, how’s it goin’? Irene: Heeheehee, guess it’s time to destroy Swansea once and for all! Tornado (my voice) Oh no you don’t! Your name is pretty, but don’t destroy where Flora was born.
I drove by a few of these going from Asbury to Brick a few months back. Would you happen to know if they ever do tests, or are they activated for emergencies only? Thanks so much 🙂
My favorite Modulator tone... in my upcoming film (currently delayed by severe tech issues) Alternate Wail is used when signaling, "Get inside and hide, the demons are coming".
@Birds1337 hey! The sirens are awesome in Stl county! I heard them for the warning on 5/31/13! The voice message was very clear and the siren sounded in alert for 3 minuets
@NickAlonzoRules Which specific fire department do you go to? I want to mark it on Google maps, but the only siren I can find in mechanicville is a Model 2.
@NickAlonzoRules Hey, I grew up on Philips Road (which is right in the Saratoga Battlefield) and I used to visit that fire department often as a kid. Do you know what siren was there before the Mod took its place? I have a map on Google maps marking a ton of sirens around upstate NY if you're interested in seeing it.
I never found this tone creepy, I always found the dual tone Siratone and MCP alert tones creepy, especially from far away, the high and low pitch perfectly mix to give this ominous feeling.
Nice recording. I don't see many close recordings of modulators in alternate wail. Whats with the random re-wind up that happened at 0:56? Did they send the activation signal twice.
Same with Wildwood Nj North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest Nj it's totally a Ghost town where it comes to Creepy scary Sirens in South Jersey by the Atlantic Ocean
Welcome to Chicago where they had a 8 year tornado warning when the sirens sound like these in Chicago in the warning there was two sirens going off the modulator went off after the first one went off
