Ep 007: Packed Binary Coded Decimal 

Let's examine another way of representing decimal values using binary. Binary Coded Decimal or BCD uses a nibble to represent each digit of a decimal value. This video shows how it's done.

• explain the need for binary coded decimal,
• determine the number of bits needed to store a value in packed BCD, and
• convert a decimal value to packed BCD.
