Allahu Akbar! This is exactly the topic I was looking for! Make dua that I get accepted to Madina inshallah! Also, can you give me some advice on starting a podcast? I really feel that a podcast down here in the states is a huge need! Jazakallahukhairan!

@@leopoldofimbel121 Salaam. I am in my last year of high school but I plan on spending 2 yrs with Sh. Okasha Kameny's program in Irving TX inshallah. From there I heard a person can transfer to azhar or madina. Inshallah If you could guide me to the first steps in applying. I will be applying anyway just in case inshallah. Allah bless you...Ameen

@@leopoldofimbel121 السلام عليكم I applied to the uni in January time. Is there any way you can bump my chances in getting in? My recent success was getting a reference from Dr. Yaqoob Dehlawi who is a judge and former teacher in the uni Alhamdulillah. But more help would be definitely helpful

@@طالبالعلم-ت6ص At the end of the day, it's really what Allah decreed for you. I only had one tazkiyyah when I applied and some of my documents where missing, but here I am al hamdulillah. You can try to come by the jamiah if you ever come from umrah.

@@salmanahmad7390 aslamu alaikum. As far as I know, you can't be "transfered" just like that to the uni. You need to apply and your application process has to go through as anyone else's. Al-azhar is (without disrespect) by no means equal to IUM in terms of: 1- Aqeedah : The aqeedah toutght in the KSA, is without doubt pure from any crooked stuff. Pure Tawhid. 2- At IUM, it is not required of you that you have memorized much of the Qur'an or that you master arabic language. The Arabic Institute is there for that, they will prepare you for the Kulliat. As for al-azhar, I beleive you need to have memorized a considerable amount of Quran, plus mastered a madhab, plus, plus... Someone can correct me if i'm wrong. 3- Everything is covered. You get free accomodation, studies and even a monthly allowance. As per Egypt, although it's cheap you might have to pay it yourself (correct me if i'm wrong). 4- Haram al-nabawi is 10 minutes away from IUM. You have free transportation every day of the week. 5- Haram al makki. An umrah is about 70 rials / USD $20 for us (if you go on your own without the one that IUM offers for free) The only thing you might need is kind of a background in arabic, at least read and write. I'll be posting a video on the topic in shaa Allah any time soon where it willbe more detailed.

Do u apply in madinah University one time or every year in case u don't get accepted. As some students wait for 3 or more years, they apply 1 time only?
