Mashallah, what an honour to be in this position, and a role model for us insha Allah. I was told that we have the 20 ways of reciting. 10 sughra and 10 kubra Does the sheikh have both small and big?
@@waq7867 I think it’s a bit too hard to explain in a comment section after second thoughts but research the topic like I did and after like a week you’ll understand the concepts. Search as much as you can on Google and through vids. Thank you

MashaAllah I think I am understanding qiraat & ashruf better now but just 1 question I am confused on you translating ashruf as dialects does that mean umar & Hisham spoke Arabic differently I thought they are both qurayshi?? Unless they found it easier to recite the quran in whichever harf prophet muhammad (peace be upon him) taught them so basically I think ashruf means more than just dialects please clarify this
I was curious about the ending, where the sheikh did a recitation and in it the alif was slant. Does that means با / ب can be red as "bae" instead of "baa"
That is a particular mode as there are many more and depending on which mode or style you are reading in the reciter follows a number of rules and can only implement them in that particular mode. You can not read a word/letter in slant unless it relates to a certain style
It's specific to alif maqsoora not every alif or aa sound i.e if the root letter is originally ى. This is called إمالة I think and you can look it up InshaAllah.
