In addition to her on-screen work, Melissa is a veteran theater actress, appearing in numerous productions, including Macbeth, Sex with Strangers, and her current one-woman show entitled Marrying Jake Gyllenhaal, where she exposes mother-daughter relationships, gender, sexuality, harassment, and trauma, love and longing and trust in ourselves…Marrying Jake Gyllenhaal will have a special limited run at the Caveat Theatre in New York City in May and June of this year.
