Hey Jim! Hey Teri! I noticed Ace used an adhesive from a caulking gun on the first slip joint connection into the tank, what was it? I do commercial and residential, building and grounds maintenance and was curious as I've never used a caulking type glue on plumbing. I'm pretty sure that marine adhesives are much stronger than the standard. How many gallons of water are y'all able to hold now? Thanks for the upload!! Hope this finds y'all well.
Hey friend! The product Ace was using was Loctite Power Grip, it was on the boat when we bought her. We don't think it is marine-grade, or anything special like that, but it seems to have done the job! So all together with the fresh water flushing water tank we now have a total of 145 gallons onboard. Thanks for following our journey!
