Our guest Kristina Ghilcrist is a native of Washington DC but has made her mark all over the world. While being a writer and educator, she has also used her story to motivate those who have experienced certain traumas to overcome and be better from it. After the weekend recap we went into dealing with public perception in 2023. Somehow we had to touch on the most recent Trump indictment in Atlanta, Georgia. What is Black Girl Power and why hasn’t Kamala Harris been using it ? Are all female rappers selling sex ? We broke down the realities of growing up inside of the DC crack era, Floyd broke down his own battle with addiction, and they both described being suicidal at the age of 13.
