I left a super abusive marriage (together for 16 horrible years) I was able to leave his ass in May 2022. In June of that same year, I was getting back into the dating scene and started talking to his really great guy. I saw some pictures of him and one of the pictures he is in scrubs and wearing a stethoscope. The way he was sitting Meade me think "ah, fuck! Dude is probably a doctor." (Yep. He is.) But that didn't bother me really as I grew up in the medical field, and I've been working in healthcare for the past 15 years. We were texting back and forth one night while I was getting ready for my shift (I'm a Tele tech) I texted him the name of the facility where I work. There was complete silence for 5min on his end. I thought "ah, fuck. He probably works there too!" Turns out he does sometimes. We've been together for 15 months, and this is the best and most healthy relationship I've ever been in. He is so kind, loving and supportive of me and my healing journey. I basically live with him and we frequently talk about getting a house together and getting married down the road. Best decision I've ever made!

I met my boyfriend at work in the hospital. I work in Supply Chain, at the time he worked in EVS(environmental services) and I had to make the first move..he is shy 😅lol! We have a 3 and a half year old now and have been together since 2019. ❤

Hi Nurse Johnn. Thank you so much for your words about having integrity e.g., don’t entertain someone who is in a relationship, even if the relationship is going through rough patches such as a divorce (or separation). This is very personal to me and it causes deep hurt when people have poor boundaries and zero integrity. I don’t ever want to be “that” woman who is the cause of further destruction of an existing relationship. I do believe that both parties who engage in those relationship dynamics have more underlaying character issues, which you also alluded to. Thanks again. ❤

Ok, not that this is anyone’s business out there, but a lot of people thought you were gay and single!! There were some hopeful souls out there of one day falling in love with Nurse Johnn. But then come to find that not only are you NOT single, but also married to a woman is breaking lots of hearts! Lol! Like I say your personal life is non life of our business here. I started the medical field because I was married to a military man and I wanted to give back however I could while my husband was fighting for our country we were very young right out of high school when we started our careers and having kids getting married 8 years later two kids and raising my step son he became a drunk and found out so many cheating stories. 11 years knowing each other he still denis physical cheating but was engaged before our divorce was even filed ! to his New GF who is 10 years younger than us.

Some people think that their type is toxic but girl your type isn't toxic that's your pattern. People pick and choose how they want to get hurt and sometimes people don't understand that they are the most comfortable getting hurt the same way instead of taking a risk on someone that will hurt them a different type of way.

I never ever never ever, ever, ever, ever understood why they would go after the girl when the boyfriend was supposed to be the smart one & avoid that. it is true from a military stand point. divorce rate is high. its super stressful. n jobs like police, medical, military, ppl have work spouses their partner. co-worker. there is a trust and bond there and its easy to take it to far. but that doesn't make it right. The work spouse bond isn't bad but cheating is bad.
Having to Live with one of the worse and deadly sickness can be really frustrating I have had herpes for the last 1 year now and I’m getting really fed up with it.
This is interesting, how did you come about this sorceress that helped you? Perhaps she can help me out with my Herpes that I have been battling for the past years now.
