I'm planning on changing to LED headlights too. These LED fogs are brighter than the OEM. We'll see how it looks once the LED headlights are installed.
I bought those bulbs from auxbeam and put them in my 04 Toyota Tundra I also got ones for the fog lights. But when I turn my fogs on they turned on my high beams not my fogs. Thinking they were to powerful for the system. I returned them. Auxbeam wouldn’t help me to solve the issue so I’m looking for new led bulbs any suggestion?
I know its been a while but you need a added resistor. Most use one for motorcycles. You only need one connected inline with one of your LEDs. That will fix your problem. If you go to SuperBrightLEds.com it will show what you need.
It came up in reviews on Amazon and other videos on LED head light changes. Obviously if its working fine then I'm confused on it. Someone might have been trying to force the fogs on with the brights. Been looking for some LED fogs to match my hedlights. These arent the same brand as my head lights but they look good, and look easy to install.
Reading through the comments and I see I’m not the only one experiencing the same problem. I installed the auxbeam headlights, but now when I flip the fogs on, my high beam is turned on, and the dashboard doesn’t recognize the high beams on either. Is there a fix, ballast we can add, or is this what we have to live with?
1stgenoffroad thanks for a speedy reply. But no that’s not what I meant. I installed the auxbeam bulbs to replace my OEM headlight bulb. Now when I want to turn on my OEM fog lights they don’t turn on. They were working fine before I installed the auxbeam headlight. When I turn the switch for the fog lights, instead of them turning on, my high beams turn on.
