@Perseverance777 why is Kane not in Adam's genealogy in Genesis chapter 5 verse 4 where it says in the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth or 800 years and he begat sons and daughters. Cain is in his own genealogy in Genesis chapter 4. John 8:44?

@@KeyofDavid5778 Genesis names three children of Adam and Eve, Cain, Abel and Seth. A genealogy tracing the descendants of Cain is given in Genesis 4, while the line from Seth down to Noah appears in Genesis 5.

@@KeyofDavid5778 In the Bible, Cain is not mentioned in Genesis Chapter 5 as the first born son of Adam because the genealogy in that chapter focuses on the descendants of Adam through his son Seth. Seth is mentioned as the son born in Adam's likeness, following the tragic events involving Cain and Abel. The genealogy in Genesis Chapter 5 is a specific lineage leading to Noah, and it does not include all of Adam's descendants. Cain's story is found in earlier chapters of Genesis.

@@KeyofDavid5778 The Genealogy of Adam presented in Genesis chapter five identifies only the lineage of the seed to Noah. If you study the chapter you will find that every descendent had many sons and daughters, but the only ones mentioned are those from whom the seed would come, that is, until it reaches Noah. Noah had three sons, and from them, the whole earth would be populated, from Shem came the seed of Christ.

@@KeyofDavid5778 Because the messiah would come through the righteous line of Adam which Cain was not (having turned from the God of his father and even becoming a murderer). Seth served God faithfully and carried on the spiritual heritage through which the messiah would eventually come.

If you can’t clap then I guess a pastor shouldn’t say a joke or make us laugh during the sermon. To be clear I think it is better to say a hearty Amen instead of clap. But laughing like clapping isn’t reverent either. I think an Amen is better but clapping isn’t the end of the world. Neither is a church leader making us laugh. But hey that’s me. Don’t always agree with you guys but keep up the great work!

Man I've had this debate more than once. God, Yahweh, Jehovah, the Great I Am, cares more about you, and your heartfelt love for Him than His name. He knows your heart and whom you are referring to. People who use them comments to discredit you have problems. God also changed His name to follow the character of Him moving hence Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Jireh, ect. God bless

God is more concerned with the intent and content of our hearts and the Bible says he winks on (sincere) ignorance. So if God has an issue with regards to his name let him correct you personally. He is more concerned with us having right knowledge of his character. Interestingly there are verses in the Bible indicating that there will be people in heaven who loved and worshipped God yet did not know necessarily know him by name so I would focus on his character and trusting, obeying, and loving him. We are even told in Revelation 19:12 that Jesus has a name that we don't know.

Why is Cain not in Adam's genealogy in Genesis chapter 5 verse 4 where it says in the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth for 800 years and he be got Sons and Daughters did God make a mistake and leave c a i n out?

Because that is the genealogy of the "sons of God" in chapter 6:2. Seth substituted Cain as having the blessing of the firstborn, since Cain was cursed and cast our into the wilderness. Cain's lineage became the lineage of the "children of men" (also chapter 6:3). Also, if you go to Luke 3:23-38, you will see that the lineage of Jesus goes through Seth (compare the genealogy from Genesis 5, up to Noah, to the genealogy in Luke 3, up to Noah as well). Hope that helps!

@@johnt7316thanks for the reply if you look up Genesis 3:15 and 16 it's very clear .... God speaking to the serpent and Eve saying I will put enmity between the woman seed in between thy seed and I will greatly multiply that conception. In Genesis 4:26 and she again bear his brother if you look up the word again in Hebrew it means continue she continued in birth they were twins you have to look up each word in the original doctor Strong's Concordance to get the meaning of Hebrew. C a i n is not in Adams genealogy because Adam is not his father the devil Satan is is where Jesus taught in John 8:44 the son of the first murderer which was c a i n whose father was the devil which is taught in the mystery of the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 13 verse 11. Jesus taught this in John 8:44 that c a i n was the son of the devil and the first murder. If you're not taught the parable of the tears in Matthew 13 it says in Mark that you won't understand any of Jesus's Parables because the children of Satan are taught in Matthew 13 verse 38 and 39 who are doing all the evil in the world today.

To whom should a person pray to ? Who did Abraham pray to, so as to be called "the father of all those having faith" ?(Rom 4:11) At Genesis 12, upon reaching the land of Canaan in 1943 B.C.E.(when he was 75 years old), the account says: "Jehovah (God's name, see Isa 12:2, KJV) then appeared to Aʹbram and said: “To your offspring I am going to give this land.” So he built an altar there to Jehovah, who had appeared to him."(Gen 12:7) At Genesis 14, when Abraham returned from being victorious over four kings of the region, Melchizedek, who "was priest of the Most High God" said: "“Blessed be Aʹbram by the Most High God, Maker of heaven and earth; And praised be the Most High God, who has handed your oppressors over to you !”(Gen 14:17-20) And to emphasize who "the Most High God" is, is seen at Psalms 83:18: "May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth." So, to whom did ALL the loyal ones in the Bible pray to ? Jehovah, and NOT to the holy spirit. At Genesis 15, when Abraham was deeply concerned that he had no son to inherit his "house", the account says: "After this the word of Jehovah came to Aʹbram in a vision, saying: “Do not fear, Aʹbram. I am a shield for you. Your reward will be very great.” "Aʹbram replied: “Sovereign Lord Jehovah, what will you give me, seeing that I continue childless and the one who will inherit my house is a man of Damascus, E·li·eʹzer?” Aʹbram added: “You have given me no offspring, and a member of my household is succeeding me as heir.” But look ! Jehovah’s word in reply to him was, “This man will not succeed you as heir, but your own son will succeed you as heir.”(Gen 15:1-4) And then moving down some 430 years, to the year 1513 B.C.E., the account at Exodus 2 says: "After a long time, the king of Egypt died, but the Israelites continued to groan because of the slavery and to cry out in complaint, and their cry for help (or prayers) because of the slavery kept going up to the TRUE GOD. In time GOD HEARD their groaning, and GOD REMEMBERED his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So GOD LOOKED on the Israelites; and God took notice."(Ex 2:23-25) And at 2 Samuel 7, David said this to Jehovah's representative angel who spoke as if he is Jehovah (see Ex 3:1-4): "Now, O Jehovah God, carry out the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house for all time, and may you do just as you have promised." "May your name be exalted forever, so that people may say, ‘Jehovah of armies is God over Israel,’ and may the house of your servant David be firmly established before you. For you, Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel, have made a revelation to your servant by saying," " ‘I will build a house for you.’ That is why your servant has the courage to pray this prayer to you. And now, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah, you are the true God, and your words are truth, and you have promised these good things to your servant."(2 Sam 7:25-28) So, another question is, is the holy spirit also God ? The answer can readily be found when comparing Matthew 12:28, that says: "But if it is by means of God’s (holy) spirit that I expel the demons, the Kingdom of God has really overtaken you", with the same account at Luke 11:20, that says: "But if it is by means of God’s finger (showing the holy spirit as an extension of Jehovah, like a fingers on a hand and NOT as a person) that I expel the demons, the Kingdom of God has really overtaken you." Thus, the holy spirit is NOT God, but Jehovah's life force, his "finger" that accomplishes his "work" with, that he "gives to those obeying him as ruler".(Acts 5:32) It is his life force that "filled" Jesus (Luke 4:1) with the strength and capability to fulfill his assignment as the promised Messiah, as the "Christ of God".(Dan 9:24-27; Luke 9:20) For example, the word "spirit" is the same word as "wind" in both Hebrew and Greek, as can be seen at Genesis 6:3: "Then Jehovah said: “My spirit ("spirit", Hebrew ruach) will not tolerate man indefinitely, because he is only flesh. Accordingly, his days will amount to 120 years". At Genesis 8:1, it says: "But God gave attention to Noah and to all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark, and God caused a wind ("wind", Hebrew ruach) to blow over the earth, and the waters began to subside." And at John 3:8, it says: "The wind ("wind", Greek pneuma) blows where it wants to, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who has been born from the spirit ("spirit", Greek pneuma)." So the word spirit as well as wind means an invisible force that produces visible results, such as Jehovah's holy spirit, as well our enthusiasm for life (which is an invisible force that moves us), whereby "our spirit" or mental disposition can be "crushed" (Prov 18:14), as well as the angels as "spirits".(Ps 104:4), as well as "God is a Spirit".(John 4:24) Thus, the holy spirit is an invisible force that extends from Jehovah God (as his "finger"), that he uses to create with (Ps 104:30), and in which when any living thing's "spirit" or life force is lost, they die, just as an electirical appliance does when its electricity is turned off.(Ps 104:29) Hence, at Matthew 6:9, to whom did Jesus teach his disciples to pray to ? NOT to the holy spirit, which is just an impersonal force from Jehovah, but to Jehovah God, saying: "You must pray, then, this way ("this way", Greek houtos, meaning "in this way, in this manner"): “‘Our Father in the heavens (Jehovah), let your name be sanctified."(Matt 6:9) So, at John 17, the account says: "Jesus spoke these things, and raising his eyes to heaven, he said (in prayer): “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your son so that your son may glorify you, just as you have given him authority over all flesh, so that he may give everlasting life to all those whom you have given to him." "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you (Jehovah), the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. I have glorified you on the earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. So now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was."(John 17:1-5)

Acts 2:38 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. If you worship a trinity of course you pray to the Holy Spirit. For non-trinitarian the Holy Spirit is not one different from God of Jesus, but their power and presence with us continually also known as divinity. This divinity is omniscient and omnipotent, but is not one different from the Father and the Son. Matthew 4:10 kjv 10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Trinitarians have a nameless comforter because they do not believe Jesus's spirit is the Holy Spirit. Just as Peter said above in Acts 2:38 be baptized and receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. John 20:21-22 kjv 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: In John 20 we see Jesus walking with his disciples. This is after Jesus death burial and resurrection. This is after the veil in the temple being rent in two. This is New Testament salvation through Jesus and not the old sacrificial system. Jesus imparting his Holy Spirit to humanity is what allows us to pray directly to the Father through Jesus work in the heavenly sanctuary in the presence of God. SDA in 2024 Trinitarian vs. Non-trinitarian This means within the SDA church we're worshipping different Gods.
