I heard the fader will cap though (already one DIY repair video on RU-vid about it). Love the look and sound of this device, but that sliding faster for effects of my main concern, then, how will it fit after a couple of years: we all seem the bending/warping OP-Zs... At least the OG KO-33 was just a board with buttons! I'm tempted, but also very hesitant of previous build quality on their higher end items prior... Anyone still reading this: what are your thoughts?!

Thanks bro. I actually think the workflow is about as smooth as it can be, it's simple and doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it's very quick to learn (2-3 hours inside out if you've worked with other samplers) and in terms of immediacy going from A to B is incredibly fast.

You should also get the TE Field Table to go with it.

Nah mate. I’d advice against it. The only beneficial way of learning is through hours spent with the gear. Samplers are quite easy but you need to be creative. If you’re not then there’s no point.

@@camofpvI gotta disagree. Lessons stick through trial and error for sure. But everyone can still grow and learn through sharing knowledge and experiences. I mean, what if you wanted to learn piano and the teacher was just like, "nah. Sit with it." Yeah you can learn some stuff that way, but you can learn more by them sharing playing and composition practices.

Merci mon frere. Yes it’s a standalone device, and it’s a sampler that comes loaded with a bank of a few hundred samples. You have 999 sample slots, they can all be replaced by sampling straight into it or transferring samples from your computer.

Honestly M+, just because it has everything you need but that's just me. If all you need is sample something, chop it, sequence it and add some simple effects this is a lot of fun and probably enough. But I often mix a bunch of stuff, bringing old samples in, some sounds from libraries, play synths over it, process individual sounds with several effects etc. and in M+ it's all just there. EP-133 I have to sit down and sort libraries before if I want some bread and butter stuff. Even though the EP-133 is very quick and geniusly trimmed workflow-wise, you can do 10 times more in the same amount of time on M+. The sample editing is just perfect and fun in my personal opinion, it feels more like holding it in your hands and shaping it.

@@BlezzBeats nah I went in and after all those screws and solder and bending it still floats values 💀 TE gave RMA approval and pays shipping back just going to take time ⚰️ Love the workflow so far tho so it'll be worth it.

@@starpause Yeah it's really dope! Hope you get it back quick. I'm just having problems with the memory being wiped, can't use project 7 even with the 1.1.1 :/ So I'm hoping for another bug fix update or the project dump so I can factory reset it.
