We continue our reaction to Jab We Met, the 2007 romcom starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, about a how chance encounter might just save someone's else's life. #jabwemet #shahidkapoor #kareenakapoorkhan #hindi
in the north-east regions of india the people do tend to have facial features much like the chinese because the north-east region is connected to china's borders, but they are indians
@@Sailapalsar yeah when i was in 9th standard i was in Himachal for 1 year study, and i had senior from Kinnaur District and her features were kinda Mongloid looking than rest of the Himachali People, though i am from Maharashtra, but Himachal and Maharashtra school has done exchange program for students that's why i had to go there, and i don't regret going to Himachal
Its not because WE ARE CONNECTED WITH CHINA 😫 Its because We are INDO TIBETIAN AND TIBETO BURMESE... China was not always bordering us. We have been here since ancient times...bordering Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar etc. The cultures have changed ....surely! Afganistan is not buddhist or full of Himalyan tribal cultures anymore, Tibet is not an independent nation...bhutan ain't controlling Tibet... Things change but Himalyans look like that COZ WE ARE HIMALYAN Not because we border China. In fact, calling us Mongloid is far more accurate than calling us chinese (which is a nationality).
I just have to say...that WE ARE NOT CHINESE. North east is distinct from Northern Himalyas. Besides, we weren't always connected to China's border. Not too long ago, It was Indo Tibet Border and Tibetian culture is very like ours because buddhism originated in India. We are both Himalyans afterall
India is so divers u can't even imagine. Every State has different face features ,skin color, different food different languages. India has all seasons u can find snow ,dessert, nature everything in one country 😊 in that scene they maybe look like Chinese but they r indians northeast indians 😊🇮🇳
that laught attack was so real broo🤣🤣🤣.....when I watched this scene first time. i PAUSED the film in front of my parents and started laughing and it lasted for whole 10 min. LOL
You made me laugh at that scene, I never had😂😂😂 Well, we literally have to study how India is a sub continent, rather than just a country. We have all landscapes. All types of people, belonging to different races. The northeast part of India has people who have mongoloid features, even their languages are of sino-tibetan origin, extremely diverse with a large no. of indigenous tribes.
@@tired.....247 right? That's the only scene in the movie which takes away its overall beauty and purpose. It could've been better if that hug was more of a friendly gesture. Not to mention the bgm choice is horrible lol. I just laughed so hard along with these guys. They made it funnier.
The song is shot in Rohtang pass, Naggar castle in Manali in the state of Himachal Pradesh (HP). It also shares borders with Ladakh (the cold desert of India) & Tibet. Also, the state has portion of population from Tibet; HH Dalai Lama resides in Dharamshala.
I have never laughed during this movie since it's my favourite.... especially this scene..... watching it for more than 12 years...but this time you guys made me laugh😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I am from the north east. We do have Mongoloid features but the tribes that you see in this film are from Manali which is a completely different part of the country. Even what you know as indian food is only North Indian food. Food, culture, attires, language, geography, climate all changes region to region in India. Our food in layman's term if I explain can be seen as a unique fusion between south east asian culture and South Asian culture. Even within north eastern ststes we have great diversity. There are 8 ststes thst comprise the north east and it has thoudands of tribes each with their own unique language and customs, food habits and cuisines. If you try our indian cuisine your mind would be blown because when the west thinks of Indian food its always either spicy curries or masala stuff that is more intrinsic to north indian cooking. Our cuisine is very very different. For example we have sticky rice, bamboo shoot, king chilli, fresh herbs as ingredients. We also eat a lot of meat
Well Thank you! I am Northern Himalyan...and these dumbass comments be pissing me off. They don't know the difference between North East and North. Its like not being able to differentiate between head and shoulders. Our culture is not chinese. Its just Himalyan. Himalyans are a lot more racially mixed than most other Indians and chinese will ever be and our culture is quite Indian up north compared to North East Indians...because north east does have massive christian population but we are mostly hindu and buddhist ...and yes! We also carry ancient himalyan tribal practices with us.
Some ppl laugh at romantic scenes because they shy 😅😅, my friends are also like that. It's just hollywood movies are so straight romance that this scenes make more shyness. I still pause so many times in 90's indian cinema's romantic scenes. Sometimes I am alone but still close my eyes through hands and smile crazily. But , I don't feel like that in other countries movies or dramas 😅😅
This movie is iconic and classic for many subtle nuances and reasons for Indians. There are many things which/ whose essence context can't be explained in words to non-indians and that's why its so loved. Its a breaze of fresh air. Its not exactly rom com, there are more romantic drama in India.
We have 28 states and 8 Union territories . Each of states are different from each other whether it's languages, foods, cultures, clothes, features, climates, landscapes etc. It feels like every states are another different country. You will find every varieties of ppl here. But, we all are indians. ❤❤
India is so vast and diverse that you will find people of all facial features and skin tone, Our North -East people do have facial features like the Mongolians , there is a village is gujarat and in the southern borders of maharastra where you'll indians who looks like ditto africans but they are indian too just like any of us.
The group they hired to dance in that sequence is from Tibetan community in Himachal (Northern India) where I live. India gave refugee to Tibetans after China's invasion of Tibet and gave us place to build our community, government, school and a safe space to practice our religion and culture freely. We are forever grateful to India. The group is from Tibetan performing arts institution so they have all the traditional outfits. We love bollywood and bollywood songs so the our people were stoked to be part of this film. Jai Hind
BRO, INDIA IS A COUNTRY WITH MULTIPLE CULTURES , ETHNICITIES , DIVERSITIES. SO THE PEOPLE YOU SAW IN THE SONG ARE FROM THE HIMALAYAN AND N-E STATES OF INDIA. THEY ARE INDIANS AS WELL. I HOPE YOU LIKE THE INFO.
Im SOOOO relieved I'm not the only one who died laughing at that hug scene 😭😭😭😭😭 I mean, I'm sure it was sensual to a lot of people and it definitely had some kind of significance but still, it could've been less cringier lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
U were right about the music choice of that scene , it was very cheesy music. But that's when they both felt that they might be more than friend with that hug...
Nah they're not coming for foreigners who have Little to no idea about India, NE people are smart enough, they just expect their fellow Indians to treat them like Indians that's why they come for mainlanders , as they should.
Please react to HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN. It's a heartwarming and wholesome movie. It teaches us about loving your family, brothers and sisters, and your beloved ones. The movie was released in 1999. I barely see any youtuber reacting to this movie except for ones from Pakistan and India themselves.
Those r Tibetans u saw in that song- where u called they look like " Chinese"😊. U guys have know that, India is hosting the HH Dalai Lama and sizeable Tibetan populations. There r beautiful Tibetan settlements across India. Hope they get to live in their homeland occupied by China one day.
an douche mann is better than anshumann guyss haha. btw when are you going to do anime reactions too? PS. I recommend monsoon wedding movie (hindi), it is sooo good. Must watch.
Y u ppl r so laughing when love making scene came and dat scene was just a normal scene and ur laughter shows How narrow u think abt love making scenes. Btw have u seen japanese, chinese or american movies? M sure yes then u hav seen much bolder scenes. Be normal theres nothing fancy Dat's wot I wanna say
When you feel something weird or something funny, want to discuss or laugh at least pause the movie at that time reply, it's irritating when you lost the context of the particular scene
