That is one gem of a woman you have there Simon. If you folks get along as well off camera as you do on camera count your blessings.

That’s because he’s well and truly whipped 😂 don’t get me wrong I love these two but for instance, Gemma will and always has referenced to Sarinda and other things of theirs as ‘my’ or ‘mine’ yet the one time I’ve ever seen Simon reference to something as “my” when he spoke about the Facebook group in this video, she shot him down but then proceeded to spend the next 3 minutes talking about HER computer and HER videos and he didn’t say a thing… 🙈😂😂

@awildthomaspowell6282 Guess you haven't watched very long. Gemma was the one that saw the ad and pushed to buy it. If she feels a sense of proprietorship, it is because of that. I often refer to our truck as my truck because that is what I always wanted to drive. Does not mean I have sole ownership. These two have changed their whole lives for this boat.

Usually it's the next day and the day after that you end up feeling a bit sore from a stumble or fall. You's two are the perfect couple. Your like two pea's in the same pod and your also the perfect couple to be fixing up this boat. Gemma is one of those women you cherish because she's not afraid to work or tackle basically any job that you throw at her. Women like her are rare these days, your a blessed man Simon, you truly are.

Glad Simon is safe after his slip. The tank you removed appears to be a "Grey Water Tank", where sinks and showers would drain, as there was no direct inlet for a toilet. There also would have been sludge in the bottom of that tank had it been a "Black Water Tank."

I really like the lines of this boat except the aft salon being a higher roof. It looks added after the fact. A flying bridge in the future would work wonders for smoothing the flow out a bit. If this is original then it may would change my opinion.

You two are an absolute inspiration. Thank you for all you do. Even on a small warship, there would have been ‘location markings’ for each ‘compartment’ (room in your language), for damage control purposes. Where you saw evidence of a welded plate on the watertight door, this would have indicated what was on the other side. The ‘ceiling’ is the ‘deckhead’ in naval parlance…needed to be very careful with the spelling there! Keep up the good work!

Dropping something in the bilge used to cost a case of beer on ships but not sure if that applies if it’s a husband. You will find that pure “poo” tanks when opened up don’t smell that bad. However if you have a grey water tank, sink water etc, then the smell is awful. Rancid fat and food scraps give off a far worse smell. Cleaning bilges is not fun but very satisfying when finished. You are doing a great job.

So guys, when I see great new boats one thing they get high marks on and rightly so is that every pipe, every wire, every connection is LABELED and when I saw you noting "Oh those are the hydraulic steering pipes" I thought "Hey, are you going to put nice labels on them before you finish so you (and more importantly someone not as familiar with Sarinda who may work on her or even own her someday) will KNOW what they are and, in some cases, what NOT to touch/cut/disturb etc. etc.? It'd be great to get a really visible labeling system/gizmo and mark EVERYthing as you encounter it, even things you may want to remove or relocate later.
