Story of Gerry:
"After graduating from the Ateneo as a full scholar, I would never have thought that I would be going anywhere near the food industry, let alone be a chef/cook myself. Graduating from AB European Studies, I thought I'd go into corporate first then head for a job at DFA. But after doing corporate for over a year, the burnout got to me and I decided, with 1000PHP as my starting capital, to start cooking for friends and students in Ateneo.
For a month I only had a few orders a week and I was rethinking my decision na. But I got my big break when my friend Renzo referred me to his org and from there I started getting consistent customers to the point na by February this year I already had a full FB groupchat with 250 people in it and at least 28 orders a day. But life hits hard and the pandemic happened and my entire business model was basically wiped out. I went back to thinking that maybe I should just go back to corporate. But with the support and encouragement of my family and friends, I relaunched Sunday's with Gerry and I've been thriving amidst this quarantine with a steadily increasing customer base"
