A review on how to play the board game Pokemon Master Trainer. Thanks to my niece Daria for lending this to me! #boardgame #ads #ads #ad #boardgame As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases
Good job explaining the rules. One die to move. It can be a very brutal game when you force trades/fights on friends or reroll their die rolls with time machine. Played cooperatively games can last 1 to 2 hours. If not played that way, a lot longer. Great game though that is much harder than it first appears.
It's still being played.... the hype is just gone but now with raids on arenas (where you can catch legendaries or other strong pkm) and legendary raids...daily quests..
I used to have this and also the Pokemon Trainer II game that was in a red box. Played them a lot, and I think my Mom sold them at a yard sale. Wish I had these again as I did enjoy them. I was just the right age for the Pokémon craze in the late 90s early 2000s.
I think its really the same except the board is a different layout and there are a different set of pokemon. I know there are also Baby Pokémon, but I forget how they affected gameplay. It's been a good 15 years since I played either.
I happen to own this game. I got it in 1999. Gave it to my older brother's family a decade later, and recently got it back again. I checked the contents, and with the exception of 13 Pokemon chips, it was all there. Thankfully I was able to recreate those tokens, since they're essentially cardboard.😆
Do you have to roll every single turn? Or if I have more than 1 pokemon knocked out, am I allowed to revive them one turn. Then on my following turn and I allowed to revive another pokemon? Or do I have to roll and leave the city I am reviving my pokemon at?
