That's very true. Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) has very many characteristics which all of us exhibit at one time or another. However, the diagnosis is that one must exhibit a certain minimum number (of the traits) habitually to be declared to suffer from NPD. Otherwise ALL people do show or possess at least one of the characteristics of NPD

Relationships are partnerships, and providing can look different depending on the couple. There's nothing wrong with both partners working and contributing financially. In fact, it can be a great way to build a secure future together. What matters most is open communication and respect for each other's goals and needs.

Remember in this case its her hubby who asked for a divorce. This is because when its the woman providing the man somehow feels insufficient and his esteem goes down. Its kinda a way of life for men to be the provider. Unfortunately most people think you are in problems because he is no longer working and there the woman is the one throwing him out. There's always that connotation.

By God's nature, a man is the Head of the house and the provider. It's something embedded in our genes, that's why men feel insecure when a woman is a top provider. It's not natural, that's why my man should provide anything little even if I get get huge salary than him. That way I will be satisfied

Bitterness comes when they do both providing & still submissive then the air still not ok coz men don't receive women z provision delightly it stimulates jealous in my opinion.

Insecurity is mostly the main reason why idle men don’t feel comfortable with women talking up home financially.

The court is also biased especially when the children are too young for obvious reasons. The best interest of the child is usually what the children's court puts first.

It's definitely important to consider all sides of child custody. Would love to hear more about what you felt was biased. Maybe there's another perspective we can explore in a future video?

That's a very valid point! It can be tricky when kids are young because they might not be able to fully express their needs. What are your thoughts on how courts can best determine a child's best interests in those situations?

@@TheJagero The law governing child custody recognizes that both parents have equal rights to custody but may award custody to one parent if the other parent is found unfit or unable to provide a safe and stable environment for the child. The children's Act of 2001 provides that a child under 10 yrs should be given to the mother unless she has been proved unfit. The children's court is usually very thorough in this area. They will look into available facts and evidence to ensure the best interest of the child safety and quality of life. If a child is old enough, their preference is also considered. Reasons for divorce do not determine who gets custody unless neglect, abuse, criminal activity or substance abuse is involved. Custody arrangements usually fall under Joint custody, sole custody or sole custody with access. These custody decisions are not permanent. They can be modified at any time. A parent previously declared unfit for mental health reasons can seek access once they are medically proven fit. Again any significant change in circumstances affecting the children's welfare are grounds for modification.

I went through this path that she did and thankfully still kept my born again status though it was shaken and refined. I was told by some the cliche… God hates divorce!! I had walked through all these areas with my God and i knew God forces no one to be in any status unless they themselves desire to. I would have loved her coaching way back then 1997! God hates his daughters and sons being treated badly and putting this God made institution into disrepute. I love her family oriented approach. Am glad to say we uncoupled well and both remarried and kids don’t have to choose loyalty

I believe she was quoting Dr. Myles Munroe who said Divorce is worse than death because when a person dies, you have a funeral & you burry them. They are gone. You don't see them again. Chapter closed. BUT with Divorce, yes the marriage is dead. It's finished. However, burying the marriage is the challenge because there are reminders everywhere. Your ex husband, the children, his family, friends, church etc. Even though the marriage is dead, there is resurrection every time you encounter these situations. It's the kind of death that is never closed.
