Kudos to Smita Prakash ji for being professional in the face of meaningless rhetoric of kashmiri aspiration and genralisation of youth issues to just being one of failure of democracy. Dear 1987 born, the democratic nonsense started because the kashmiris didn't want democracy and wanted to separate. It's separatist mindset of kashmiri Muslims which is a problem. Don't play with words.

When it comes to Kashmiri Brahmins and how they were raped killed, and thrown out own houses, They are so hesitant even to accept or admit firmly the brutality on Kashmiri Brahmins. The shock of that brutality is still there in the hearts and minds of every Kashmiri Brahmin (That is the main reason they do not want to return to Kashmir) who are fortunately alive and are doing well in their life and are living a rich, prosperous, and respectful life in any part of the world. But on the other hand, the Kashmiri people are still struggling with their day-to-day needs from 1991 to pre-370 & 35A abrogation. Whose kids, youth, and women were involved in stone pelting, terrorist activities, etc. I fail to understand why they want 370 back.

This guy is all reasonableness. He says that Art.370 is a part on the Constitution, but conveniently ignores the fact that the Article was a temporary provision. Mehbooba said that the country's flag will not fly in J&K so long as Art.370 is not restored. The PDP and NC speak from both sides of their mouths.

Appreciate Mr. Waheed’s acceptance that Kashmir is incomplete without Pandits. Kashmir has to integrate itself with India as their root ideology and India need to listen to them with empathy but idea has to be as One India. Until Kashmir accepts and beholds India as other states has done reciprocity will always be difficult.

Govt of India has signed below mentioned agreements to resolve Kashmir with Pakistan. 1. 18 UN resolutions on Kashmir 2. Tashkent agreement 3. Shimla agreement 4. Lahore and Agra Declaration. Don't Blame Kashmiris. Rostore Article 370 to avoid further violence...

seems one of rare instance in conversations wherein the apologist to the govt journalist doesn't have questions to the purported party member of separatist mindset party, bit surprising that the main stream so called parties representatives are yet to be seen in this forum with the casual conversations!! the discussion as usual involved topics such as the UAPA ordeals and ties with dynasty during post abrogation era, the state based identities and exodus of communities, the alliances collapse and view point on the 2 parties, the rigging of past election and surprise win of separatists meandering as politicians, the interference from across border etc but missed out as usual about the parties stand on so called nation hood and plan for the abrogated articles, the law and order situation in current position, the stand on the passports being restricted for select intellectuals and many others were left !!

A good discussion He makes a conscious effort to sound reasonable but there are jmany contradictions. Agree on his point there is a trust deficit between Delhi and K. But the reasons he can’t be lopsided. The loss of Kashmiri pundits at one point being referred to as migration rather than a forced exodus is telling. Will the Kashmiris themselves make the effort to create a safe space that would see some of the pundits returning? That would be a step forward in creating a true Kashmiri identity.

One of the most stupid things I see in this whole thing is that The lady asking Questions acts like she doesn't knows anything. Is she a Child ? Doesn't she knows the history of Elections in JK ?
