Loved this on the C64 back in the day.... And the soundtrack was amazing too !!!!!

When a racing sim channel I watch was struggling to stream an Amiga racing game I suggested they get Amiga Forever. Needless to say it enabled them to faultlessly run the software. It’s a great piece of software.

THE LAST NINJA games are still my favorites on the Commodore 64 😺👍🕹️. I still use C64 version of THE LAST NINJA (The Wilderness) as a ringtone 🎵🎶 on my phone 😺👍. THE LAST NINJA 2 is definitely THE BEST 😺👍! I still have it - boxed - as a tape version for my Commodore 64 😺👍🕹️. THE LAST NINJA 3 was OK on the Amiga 😺👍🕹️. I have never played THE LAST NINJA REMIX 😹.

The music on the C64 Last Ninja games is amazing. The Amiga music isn't as good, though still okay. You do jump across the stones and logs. It's famously hard to do.

It's really noticeable that the Amiga version doesn't seem to be much of a step up from the C64 version!

Life is too short for spending too long guessing weird control schemes! I was thinking you should just pop over to Lemon Amiga and read the manual, which you eventually did. People complain about this game, but you can find people to complain about every game. You did alright playing it, made it look fun, and the game still has a bit of charm about it.

I'm probably in the same mindset as DavePoo that the game itself isnt great - pixel perfect jumping, inst-death, illogical puzzles. There's lots to not like! And if i remember correctly, it was possible to progress through levels and not take items that were required later on, which made odd puzzles even more difficult to comprehend. Last Ninja 2 though did stand head and shoulders above 90% of games at the time for graphics and sound so we put up with average gameplay. But it was already showing its age when converted to the amiga.

I can't understand why a game this fiddly has achieved cult status, but yet, here we are. The music of both the C64 and Amiga version is great though.

I know last ninja has a huge following but it never really did anything for me. I'm fairly sure it doesn't matter how many times you shout pick it up at the TV he isn't going to 😂.

The first dude just killed him self because you did not fight him. They were quite quick to kill them self back in ancient Japan, you know honor and suffer public digrace 🤔😔

I'm sorry to all the fans of this game, but I remember playing it back in the day, it was graphically amazing, and the music was awesome, but the gameplay sucks, Trying to maneuver the character into pixel perfect positions was annoying & the combat was just button bashing nonsene. If it wasn't for the graphics and music, this game would have been long forgotten.
