I just recieved my Hero 130. 2022 model and manufacturing year. A few differences from the skiff shown, but I plan on posting a review soon. I was on a waitlist for the SS for almost 3yrs.
This will definitely turn some SS buyers in waiting for along time and the price increase for sure and the sound of it you mention was much lighter ..I own a SS before I jump on Scout inflatable
On the fence between the Hero and the SS. Hopefully the Hero can accept different brands of outboards. Hate how the SS is so Tohatsu friendly. The SS can accept a Honda but the steering is limited. Also want to see the build quality of the Hero, the SS is 1/2 think material which is comforting.
Looks better than the solo skiff. It doesn’t have the useless rod holders like the solo that’s why it stayed dry. Plus it comes with the rails. Winner!!!
@@nicolascruz4009 unfortunately this looks like quite the DIY project, and not an easy one at that. Maybe a company will sell a mount at some point. I think they’d sell a lot more if it was easy to throw a xi3 on the bow
I just subscribed check out my jet kayak I made from a jetski! I always wanted to maybe build a skiff with motor but also a peddle drive installed as well? What do you think?
