「冇雷公咁遠」，即係有幾遠？雷公又係邊個呢？
其中一個傳說話因為北方氣候乾燥寒冷，唔會經常行雷，但相反南方譬如香港咁，就潮濕炎熱，成日都會有雷暴。如果住喺南方嘅人想去到無行雷嘅地方呢，就要去到好遠好遠嘅北方，咁就連雷公都唔會去喇。後嚟啲人就會用「無雷公咁遠」指好遠好遠、非常遠嘅地方。

Legend has it that due to the dry and cold climate in the northern regions, thunderstorms don't occur frequently. In contrast, in the southern regions like Hong Kong, the climate is humid and hot, and thunderstorms are a common occurrence. So, if someone living in the south wants to go to a place without thunderstorms, they would have to travel very, very far north, to a place where even Lei Gong wouldn't go. Consequently, people use the idiom "冇雷公咁遠" to refer to a place that is extremely far away or very remote.
