This video was so helpful thank you! Ive got a couple of Qs... Im staying in Falk Egg and ive heard that they have longer beds? Does that mean I have to get bigger bed sheets or just singles?:') Does it get cold enough to warrant buying an electric heater? Im studying History and Politics too so ill buy that textbook lol, oo and Id love to see a video talking about the essay technique advice you mentioned, I know its quite niche video but it would be super helpful:)) Thanks again:))

Lizzy Watts awww that’s amazing! You will have the best time & Thankyou so much so glad it has helped! Mine was just a normal single and so was all of my flat mates and everyone I knew so I would say you just need a normal single bedsheet + mattress topper, but then recommend a double duvet just because it’s extra cosy! And our heating was fine I did take loads of blankets though but not sure if you are allowed to take a heater due to health and safety and I know my friend got fined for having one so double check that one! Anything your not sure of though or want to double check I would message the committee or you can ring up falk egg reception, Thankyou again - holly 🥰

Is it hard to get a room in Falk Egg? Like is there a load of competition for rooms? I really like it and I want to stay in Falk Egg, but obviously if there’s loads of people wanting to go to Falk Egg, I need to have second choices!!

You mentioned having a double duvet, does it touch the floor when you hang it off the sides ?

How do you buy platinum for nights out? do you have to wait till you get to uni? x

Hi annabelle, I think there is still an option to buy beforehand but all your fresher committees will signpost you went to get it and when the offer runs out so I wouldn’t worry about it! I got mine in first year after I’d been out a few times to see if it was going to be worth it and what everyone else was doing xxx

Does Falk Egg supply you with a pillow / duvet

Sandrina Maniraguha The list of what’s included / what you need to bring can be found on the accommodation lboro website so best to check there as it will be updated for this year and you can check with your committee in the freshers hall chats, but you usually get one/two very light pillows included with no duvet, only a light thin bed sheet - We brought our own pillows, bed sheets & duvet. Hope this helps ☺️
