You probably need your truck for other things, but starting my company I sold my truck and bought a f450 6 yard side loader for 15,000 I get 60 to 80 stops per load I’m now looking for a larger rear loader and plan to start recycling pick up with the 6 yard

You really ought to start a recycling program. There's a lot of benefits to it. 1) if you are the only trash service in your area that offers recycling that would put you above the other trash haulers as people see recycling as a good thing and they want to support that thus giving you more customers. 2) you can make good money off selling recyclable materials. Recycling Markets differ by location but generally you can always make money off metal cans, plastic bottles & containers with the numbers 1, 2, & 4, newspapers, magazines, and cardboard. Again, that list may differ from whats profitable to collect for recycling in Baker County but it's a generic list. 3) Recycling is even more profitable when it's curb sorted. Basicly what that means is resident put their papers in one crate and their cans & plastics in a second. This reduces time on your end since you won't have to do much sorting but it also makes the recyclables more valuable as the papers are less likely to have food residue on them. If this sounds like something you would like to do I would suggest either putting some dividers down the trailer or sticking some toters in the trailer and filling them with the recycling. As for recycling crates, we currently buy rubbermaids & just paint them but we do plan to start buying from rehrig as they're supposedly really good. I think otto makes crates too. Ayy, small world! I used to run a leachate evaporator at the trailridge landfill before Aptim showed up with their evaporator (the big blue building you pass by on the right once you enter the landfill and make your way to the working face).

Morning is so pretty with sun over horizon. I bet you appreciate it being cooler in the morning too, since this summer has been a hot one. This was great getting to hear you play the trash drum. The bugs however, not so great, a can of raid auda sort them out. The lady who put her own trash bag into the truck for you, I am so impressed by that, I need to marry her lol. Just like you said Brad, "look at you" I know right? She's a keeper! Your first day you were slow as you were still figuring out your groove. Now, your moving faster. 👍
