One of the best walks in Sikkim is undoubtedly the easy one from Hilley to Barsey through pristine jungle. The area's predominant environment is wet and chilly due to more than 250 cm of annual rainfall and elevations above 2000 m; this combination has allowed the region's primary floral genus, Rhododendron, to thrive and diversify. If you're fascinated by rhododendrons and want to visit this location, April and May are the finest times to do it. Rhododendrons begin flowering all over the landscape at the start of spring and continue to do so until the rainy season takes control in mid-May.
