I am a beginner to EPP, and I have always looked at this process the same as a stack whack quilt, same concept, but different...LOL I just heard that in my head..Good tutorial I will continue to work on mine see what becomes of it..Thank You Sue
I just found your site and love it. I am very new to EPP and have a lot to learn. I have done FPP. One question. I baste my fabric to the papers, but do not glue and do not go thru the paper. Is there a reason I should do so. The book I have says not to go thru the paper. I also do not like glue of any kind. I just cut the fabric hold it in place with my thumb and forefinger of my left hand and in a very short time I have it basted on.
Sue I just found your site and I love it. I've been doing hexies for a while but you have so many ideas. I notice your quilts on your wall, do you have a EPP book out to show us how to make your quilts?
Can invisible thread be used or is that too thick? I'm a complete learner and find your video's so helpful. Please keep them coming. Dorien from Liverpool in the UK
please: Is the paper triangle you had at the start- 1/4 inch smaller than fabric triangle? Show the fussy cutting the fabric in front of you? the difference? similarities? and please answer questions sent ? thanks
I love what you are doing with octagons and hexies. Do you have any finishing tips for a quilt where the sides are not a straight line (rectangle or square quilt)? I'm not sure how to bind it.
