I have had and seen and heard many toddlers that hate shoes. Toddlers constantly taking their shoes off. SMART TODDLERS.

As a child, when my leather soles wore out, we'd take our shoes to the cobbler. I didn't like them when I got them back- he put some kind of rubber sole on them. I didn't make the connection until I started listening to interviews with Clint.

I'm not even 10 minutes in and I feel like this explains sooo much of what I've been feeling for a while. I'm from a fairly rural area in the US, and although I'm not particularly outdoorsy, I love to interact with nature. More than that I feel a need to be connected to it in some way. Five years ago I moved to Korea, where nature is an attraction, not an experience. Aside from the cultural, and environmental changes... the biggest area where I struggle is not being able to have that freeing interaction with nature anymore. I told my tutor once that I walked in the pouring rain because it was fun, and he couldn't even imagine doing that. I've been telling my friend lately that I just need more green. My soul feels so burdened because there's no "natural nature" here. Everything is planned and maintained. I've come to believe that we treat nature as if it's here for us... but the more I'm apart from it, I feel that we are here to experience and admire nature. Anyway. I'm rambling a lot, but I've been thinking a lot about these things lately, and even if no one gains anything from reading this, it felt good to express it. :)

I feel that with you and agree that natural nature has so much to say to my soul. Contrived nature is too tame to teach. I hope you can find your Wild natural place to rejuvenate. Wondering, do you notice that others are also suffering from the lack of wild nature or do the curated parks sufficiently satisfy?

I feel the same. I got a bunch of plants and put them all over my home and my patio. It has helped a little. I discovered that I have very much a green thumb and they are all growing like crazy. I do live in a warm tropical type of environment during summer so I’m sure that’s mostly why, but it does my heart good to touch them and water them and watch them grow. If you can’t move right now, maybe get some plants.

You are absolutely right I relate to you so much just reading it. I am someone from Africa and all I know is outside and nature. When I came to United States I lived in the city for 10 years. I missed interacting with nature so much. After I learned there is State Park in United States, I became connected again. I tried to walk regularly in a state park from 5 to 8 miles barefoot. my life changed forever. Grounding also is a reminder of what matters the most.

I bought Clint's earthing kit for my 75 yr old mom. She had rheumatoid arthritis in her shoulders, elbows & hands. After using the grounding mats from Clint Ober's site for about a month, now she's strong enough to open her own jars, work out & has no pain. I can't explain how it works but I know it works!!! I recently posted a video of her doing push-up's with Chef Babette. Thank God for Clint's ingenious invention for indoor grounding. Peace, love & blessings ✌🏾❤️🙏🏾

Here is my grounding story. way back when I was a teenager, I use to suffer from tonsillitis, at 19 years old, one evening my father took me to the emergency room, I couldn't even pass saliva. the Doctor gave me penicillin pills and was ok in 24 hours. That week end I went to visit my older brother, told him about my problem and he told me!!! We have 3 different temperatures in our body if they are of, the body gets sick and full of pain, he told me walk barefoot for as much time as possible and that will fix my tonsils. Took my shoes of I am 66 years old and never had any problems with my tonsils since.

In younger I always wore a tie in my profession, I wore it fishing, hunting and gardening. Very often I had tonsillitis. One hot summer my colleague and I decided to wear the tie and kept the upper button of our shirt open, since that time no more tie and the upper button of the shirt kept open. No more tonsillitis! My theory is that I was pampering my neck "tonsils" all my life.

What Clint describes about the cardiologist is 100% of what's wrong with our medical system. Doctors are paid not to cure, but to TREAT. If we only paid when we were cured, all the doctors in the US would be completely broke, not some of the highest paid individuals.

At first they would be broke. But then it would force them to actually cure. And then they would start making money. Not toooo much. Things are simpler. Less meds, less mchaines, less this, less that. But theyll still make more money than the average joe. And.... society is far healthier. Stop blaming the docs. They make only so much money that YOU give them. We have the power.

After listening to this about grounding from a friend of mine that sent this to me in a text I realized and I've known this since I moved from Florida to Illinois because of family issues or I would have never moved here.... I never had any sicknesses until I moved here I used to walk the beach 2 mi a day... Swim in the Gulf of Mexico., Get lots of vitamin c fresh air and saltwater... I practically grew up in flip-flops and barefoot... And I was healthier than I've ever been in my life! I have been living in Illinois for 4 years.... I am trying to get back to where I grew up... So therefore everything you say about rounding is true.... I would go to the beach everyday walk two miles everyday... Go to the beach and be with mother Nature anytime I wanted because I live that close to the beach... 15 minutes in the in the car to the beach! I was definitely a beach bum I grew up there since I was six years old... So I was grounding without even knowing it.... I used to play volleyball on the beach.... Go bodysurfing I never had any aches and pains until I moved here! Grounding sounds like just getting back with mother Nature and doing the things you used to do even as a child! And as far as these damn doctors.. some are good... And some are not..... A lot of them are pill pushers! Pharmaceutical and doctors are in on it together... Just like the man says luckily I have two good women doctors I go to and I have went there holistic way through a friend.... I have learned a lot from her how to take care of my health! What this man is saying is true! I never had any signs of sickness because I was always walking on the beach . Getting sunshine.... Smelling The saltwater air! Like the guy said in here it's all free! In other words get off your ass and get back with mother Nature and you will be fine! If we all did this we wouldn't need doctors don't get me wrong we need doctors for surgeries and things like that but we don't need them to be pushing drugs on us and I refuse to be a pill Popper and my doctors know that! So this was very informative for me I've been grounding all my life and never knew what it was called I just called it a natural high! 🙂🙌👍❤

I’m JUST now getting into grounding and holy shhhhh… Im 26 and was diagnosed with PMDD (a severe form of PMS). For the past four months it’s consumed me and made me almost off myself because you wake up one morning, about week before your period and you feel like a totally different person- a crazy person. I don’t want to be on birth control nor SSRIs, which are the only options given how little funding and research goes into this illness. I started looking for holistic remedies, found out about grounding , planted my feet in the ground for about 7 minutes and I swear on everything I no longer have anxiety, sui*idal thoughts, any negative thoughts. In fact, I was smiling and couldn’t stop telling my mother about this!! Very cool and very happy and hope more folks get into this 🎉

Check how many people were electrocuted before learning how to protect yourself from this risk. If you are not grounded you can hold a ten thousand volt bare wire and not feel anything. I grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, and went barefoot ALL SUMMER as a kid. I probably didn't wear shoes most of the summer. Even into my 30's, I went barefoot alot, weather permitting. I seldom ever wear shoes indoors, so I often wander out with none on. I never had all the aches and pains most people complain of until I hit my mid-50's, 10 years ago. My neighbor raves about this, and her grounding mats that she sleeps on. I'm heading outside RIGHT NOW to finish listening to this, and I will sit on the lawn (which I always love, and always feels so natural to me) and report back. xoxox SO EXCITED!! ............... Sat for 45 minutes, lying on a folded quilt (it's chilly) with my feet and palms against the lawn. That was very relaxing, and as a long time meditater, I could feel my mind relax and open. The most noticeable change - and it's a BIG ONE - is NO PAIN in my Rt Hip. The pain kept me awake last night. We'll see how this goes!! YAY!

This experience is real! I had a car accident… very bad one and the inflammation was extreme, relaxants and therapy were utilized in full effect initially and then I heard about this grounding thing in my search for additional help besides the relaxants. I listened to the impact the grass would have and I tried it while in dull aching dominate pain. Tried it for a few days consistently and I could feel relief from stiffness gradually and then my movement was better than it had been I took a shot and bought the pillow case and OMG! Sweet Life of living I felt the great difference in an overnight time frame. I tried to tell my chiropractor why it could be that my progress was coming as it was but he didn’t want to really here that it could be something outside of therapy 🤔😆. I will not go without the grass process or the earthing resources- I have the pillow the sheet and the wrists bands. I’m all in.

Very good episode guys. Only yesterday I ordered some earthing mats for my wife and me. Now trying to figure out how to round outdoors, but it's pretty cold outdoors here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, so that grounding outdoors will go into full swing as the temp's start to climb. Clint Ober is like a quiet, soft spoken world-class genius. It's possible that the subtitle of his book is a bit understated!

Wow "it's going to be these young moms that will change the world" this touches me deeply because when i became a mother with my first i became even more aware of health for my child and family. Such a responsibility that lots of parents put in the hands of others and not thinking or researching for themselves. I was a stay at home mom so i had the time to figure things out and kept following my natural way of nurturing and living and now after two children am a reflexologist promoting grounding to everyone. I work in a well known shoe shop part time and i can feel myself stepping out of the life that is keeping us from connecting to earth. Luckily there are indeed lots of moms and dads supporting earthing and inspiring others nowadays so Clint's quote is very true ❤

This sort of thing is something you'd NEVER expect me to do. If you knew me, you'd understand. But the past year or so I've been more connected to the earth and nature and I'm here to tell y'all, this is all very VERY real. Once you feel it, it's almost as if you can feel the heartbeat of the planet. It's pumping its life into you, the way it was designed to. I almost get emotional just thinking about it.

Just a personal testimony on the effectiveness of crystals - I had hypoglycemia / low blood sugar, which in 1 instance caused me to black out while driving and I craehed my car. A few years later I had the opportunity to browse through a basket of crystals, and was particularly attracted to a Sodalite stone. The owner of the basket of stones looked up the properties thereof in her crystal book, and they all related to my condition. I carried that Sodalite stone with me in my jeans tiki pocket everyday, and after 6 months, it suddenly dawned on me that I had not felt dizzy for a few months, and my hypoglycemia was gone.

11:15 I meditate with obsidian, and I tell you if you can manage to do it daily for a month or two, you'll start to feel how there are insanely strong electrical charges that can be drawn out of your body using them (different ones so different things obviously, obsidian is just more of a straight forward kinda guy). The earthing is passive, but meditation with certain types of crystals is active and can be really strong. The otherday there was an immensely huge charge going down my arm that was attracted to the obsidian in my left hand... Before when I meditated without the obsidian it tried to escape down my leg, but I wasn't grounded at the time and it was extremely painful because it felt stuck... I had to stop meditating and walk around on the Earth for 10 minutes to not feel like I was damaging my bodies nervous system. If you can accept that the Earth draws charge out of your body just by walking on it, it's not a huge stretch to think that a quartz crystal that is tuned to the Earths electrical charge can also draw out energy in your own system... You just need to learn how to use it, while we all know how to walk barefoot on the Earth. If you're interested in this stuff, then investigate; don't wait on the masses to tell you it's acceptable.. they are the ones who need you to tell them it's acceptable to give something new a try. Just walk into a crystal shop (or just go on Etsy if you're super self conscious), spend $20 on a quartz crystal, sit in the dark with it (right hand for male, left for female in your receiving hand) for 20 minutes for a week and see what you feel.

@@zax1308I told my chiropractor about my food allergies--gluten, dairy, and eggs. I do cheat from time to time, but I am not supposed to. He ordered a blood test. He prescribed 5 or 6 different prescriptions and in a very short time, I felt great. I also saw the nutritionist in his office. Dr. Tom Roselle has or had a weekly radio show. I happened to be listening when it was about the thyroid. He and another doctor were discussing the thyroid and I kept saying, "That is me." So, I attended the workshop in the office in Fairfax, VA to learn more. And again, I kept saying, "That is me." I became a patient. I was familiar with adjustments. That was 2013 and it is still healthy. Recently, a doctor asked me about my thyroid. I told him I had Hashimoto's at one point, but it is healthy now. He looked at me like I was crazy. Blood test confirmed it is healthy. I seldom take an aspirin or anything because it all affects the health of the gut. I do not live in VA now, but I do receive the e-mails. I noticed when I started grounding that I don't have static electricity in my body anymore. In the winter, we lived in the high desert, I constantly would get shocked when touching metal. It was so unnerving and made me anxious. One time in particular, I got the biggest shock while at the store. The jolt went from my left hand on the handle of the refrigerated door all the way through my arm to the arm on my shopping cart. It was horrific and painful. Even kissing my husband, I would get shocked. I researched this but there was nothing on the net about how to cure this phenomenon.
