Hey Tash, I'll join you on the tired front, we can both have a long nap on the couch. Im a wee bit late in catching up with your vid this week but as always loved all of it. Your knits, all of them have come out lovely. I just wanted to note, if you ever have the time, I would be very curious to see a video on that sewn bind off you were going to do on the tank top, unless you know another place I can find it. I hope you had a more restful week this week your life sounds so busy, I do half the things you do and can barely keep up. Cheers, Tara

Thanks so much Tara. I can definitely do a video on the sewn bind off. It is a good one. I didnt end up doing it on Cami #5 as it didnt look that good on 2x2 ribbing - but it does look good on garter stitch. Hope your week ahead is restful. :)

I love your ranunculus!!! I am hoping to make my first ranunculus after the first of the year. My goal is to start my Field Sweater next week. I have the yarn, made my gauge and am ready to go. I love how you explain certain aspects of your projects like weighing yarn as you are planning if you have enough yarn. Thank you once again for all your input. I hope Alex gets a kind magistrate who will take mercy on her and her mom. ❤

Thanks so much Maryann. It can be a daunting experience so I hope and pray it goes well. I am really excited for you to be starting your Field Sweater. I hope you love it. And I know you will love the Ranunculus. Just shout out if you need help with anything along the way. :)

I like the look of it but I do find ribbing a bit tiring on my hands (and have to pay attention more). I'm curious to see how i like knitting it. :)

Your ranunculus looks great. Good luck with the cami no5, personally I would be stretching it while wet 😂 I never follow rules! Your bag is great and no doubt the next one will be much faster. Looks very profesh. Omg your car 🤯 I saw an MG the other day and I thought of you and groaned. Good luck to Alex - if you don’t ask you don’t get 💪🏻 Have a restful weekend 💕

@mostlyknitting 10 месяцев назад
Thanks so much Karen. Very happy to be having a quiet and peaceful weekend. Thanks for the encouragement on the bag. My sewing skills are definitely rusty. I have made dresses and skirts and trousers and all sorts of garments but when easing back in - a bag is a good start. I am glad my machine has a pretty strong motor. The canvas is pretty thick. Makes for a great bag, though. I love it!

@@mostlyknitting it took me a while to get back into sewing again. I needed to replace some linen pants from over a decade ago that were so low waisted but I had no desire. Pushed myself when I wasn’t resisting as much and then I fell in love again and have made WAY TOO MANY pairs 😱 ahh balance - it’s elusive for me 😬🤣 A bag is great as it’s so satisfying, good luck with the others. I haven’t done grommets but love all that hardware, makes it look next level to add things like that. Would like to add rivets and things to pants, another rabbit hole for another year 💕

Wow your Ranunculus is absolutely gorgeous Tash! It looks so soft and floaty. I finished a Ranunculus sleeve whilst watching your episode and really appreciated being able to also watch your icord bind off and grafting tutorials - thank you! Love your woven scarf! Hi Joanne. That sweater is the Ingalls Sweater by Caitlin Hunter. It is a real favourite of mine - I have knit the pattern 4 times now and love wearing it. This is my ravelry project page. ravel.me/tashbalaz/i5 Thanks for watching and letting me know you like the videos. :)

I was wondering if you said that you changed how the 1st sophie scarf you did you didn't like one edge. Before I start mine, did you end up doing something different on the light purple scarf. Enjoy your podcast. Sorry for being a little wonky in what I want to ask. I little still foggy after my surgery.

I’m an ER nurse and in the medical field we call the “armpit” the axilla. Maybe you might prefer that word better if you don’t like saying armpit. I love your channel. Your knitting is lovely. Thanks for the entertainment ❤😊

Shame to overdye your camisole. Can you not add stripes?
@mostlyknitting
@mostlyknitting 10 месяцев назад
It would be a shame. I think it is actually going to be JUST long enough. I am going to give it a really solid blocking when it is done and get all the length i can from it rather than have to change the colour. :)
