This video is one out of the series of Uttarakhand tourist places, I traveled to Garhwal region to explore tourist places, sightseeing, local food.
Uttarakhand is also called Dev bhoomi because it has many places of religious interest.
It was such a memorable experience to be at Tipri Bisht Village, this is at a distance of about 18 km from Dharasu Bend. Just in case if you have missed watching the previous episodes of this series, do have a look at them, link of playlist below.

This video is about 4th day of our 29 day journey of hills of Uttarakhand.
If coming from Barkot, first Dhrasu Bend comes then one goes to Gangotri via Uttarkashi. To go to this village one need not go to Uttarkashi .
I am not sure, whether they would be interested in holding a similar event again, if someone wants to visit, but just in case if you want are interested, you may touch base with them.
Few imp things in this regard:
Cost: This kind of event would cost something between 15k to 20k all cost inclusive.
Mr. Krishan, he is resident of this village can be contacted, if you are looking to touch base with them.

This was a golden experience for me, i was so much impressed with the hospitality offered by them, friendly and simple people.

We did this journey between 13th of May 2019 to 10th of June 2019.... we started our yatra from Haridwar and reached back Haridwar.

जिस हिसाब से आपका स्वागत किया गया है और वो भी आज के जमाने मे पूरा गावँ इक्कठा होकर ओर एक सामूहिक भोज देकर भी।ये इस जमाने की तो दुर्लभतम बाते है।और साथ मैं ऑर्गेनिक फ़ूड।कायदे से ये गांवो का प्रमोशन होना चाहिये ओर इनसे कुछ सीखना भी चाहिये।भारत गांवों का देश है और इस परंपरा को जीवित करने के प्रयास के लिए भी साधुवाद।

Neeraj - I was in DevBhumi in Jun-2018, Loved the People, Loved the Food (don't loose the importance of the Food Quality you guys have there), Mountains, Valleys and Literally everything, even the Fresh Air was Beautiful. Honestly speaking, I have been watching your videos for almost 3 to 4 hours daily from the last 10 days. Everything has been covered in detail. I feel proud to see people from Gharwal honouring the guests so warmly. It feels great to see an entire village come together in honour of a guest which is a trat in itself. Knowing about the food habits, food and culture forms a positive point for each and every episode. All I can say is, rather than visting these places for worship, I would prefer to visit these places to make people feel that they still have the charm in them. These citizens from Gharwal do need a raise in ranks in comparison to what we are living in cities. Thanks once again for your wonderful coverage.

हैलो सर, गहत की दाल को कुलद की दाल भी कहते है | हमारे घर सर्दियों मे यह दाल बनाई जाती है और दाल को कडाही मे पानी सुखाकर इससे सट्फ्ड पराठें भी बनाये जाते है | झंगोरा का शामक के चावल भी कहा जाता है | जो दाल का पकौडा/वडा आपने खाया,वो अक्सर गढ़वालियों के घर शुभ अवसरों,त्यौहारों मे बनता है और हल्दी उसमे ज़रूर डाली जाती है | गढवाली भोजन मे हल्दी का खासा महत्व है,कई खाने जिनमे हल्दी नही डालते परंतु गढवाल मे एसा नही होता | बहोत बढिया विडियो बनाया सर आपने | धन्यवाद |💐🙏😊

Arsa is also Common in My Maternal Uncle's Village at Raniganj, in West Bengal. Arsa is sweet in nature. It's very tasty because of Jaggery

The arsa is also made in Assam which we call pitha if you remember Bali ji
