Title: Tipri Village to Uttarkashi | Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra | EP 5
Uttarakhand offers unique Tourism opportunities, this is day 5 of our Char Dham yatra, we started this journey from Haridwar and reached back Haridwar after 29 days of our travel of different regions of Uttarakhand.
Summary of places visited by us on day 5 of our Uttarakhand Tour is given below:
Tipri Village: we had Garhwali food in breakfast, in episode 4 you saw that we had huge range of Garhwali food variety in dinner at this village and also saw the folk dance of Uttarakhand.
Following are the food items we had in breakfast at this village.

Just in case if you want to connect with them over the phone for Garhwali food you may do that:
Mr. Kishan: 8057890918 and 7088340965.
Though they don't have homestay concept but just in case if you are interested for similar experience, you can touch base with them. in my opinion this would cost about Rs 15k to 20k.
Kashi Vishwanath Temple: This is a ancient temple in Uttarkashi.

We went to Uttarakhashi DM office- for permit of Gaumukh, process is to first apply online and then visit forest office near DM’s office at Uttarkashi or visit forest office at Gangotri and then they approve your online permit.
I have just checked and found that this online application website link is not opening, seems some temporary problem is there…
Hotel Ganesh Ganga Restaurant: This is at a distance of about 7 km from Uttarkashi - on way to Harsil.
This is a road side dhaba, They serve North Indian food including Garhwali food.

Sir enjoyed ur video a lot ...sir just try atleast once Faadun...it's also a traditional dish famous in Uttarakhand...it is prepared with Gahat daal...n one more thing I wud like to mention here The correct pronunciation of pahadi jeera is Jakhiya not Jaakhiya..

Harish ji I have lived in Uttarakhand for more than 2 years. As Ruskin Bond had said, once you live in the mountains you belong to them. हरीश जी आपको अगर एक सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेता का खिताब दिया जाए तो अतिशयोक्ति नही होगी क्योंकि तरह तरह के भोजन try करना और कैसा भी लगे लेकिन उन भावों को हँसते हँसते छिपा जाना।बहुत ही मुश्किल होता है और ऊपर इतना तरह तरह का खाना और उसे फिर पचाना।अदभुत कार्य है सब।इतना आसान नही है ये सब कर पाना।

What a heroic welcome those villagers gave you , well deserved . The variety of food never ceases to amaze me.A case of the environment shaping the diet of the locals- unfortunately these superfoods never make it to other parts of the country .Those leaves dipped in besan and fried are similar to alu vadi or pathra. .The slate tile roofs are used in many countries where heavy snowfall is experienced .

Uttrakhand k bare mei aap bahut achhi tarah se bata rahe hain..apne Aalu ki thichoni aur white bhatto ka fanu jakhya k tadke k sath khaya wo log aalu k sath pahadi mula(muli) bhi daal sakte they....apne ek baat par gor ni kiya ki jese jeera sabji mei daal k gal jata hai....par jakhya kabhi ni galta...wo pakne k baad as it is crunchy rahta hai...Garhwal mei welcome dhol nagado se karte hai...apko Uttrakhand k pahad ache lag rahe hai uske liye shukriya...thanx 2 like my Uttrakhand...jai Badri vishal..jai Uttrakhand...

Great. These dishes should be served in cities. All the cities in India, serve the same kind of dishes now. Of course, if one can visit these places, nothing like it.
