So underrated, please go see this man play, appreciate and soak in the messages. Through some rough times his music has carried me, cry nearly every time I gear him play. Love one another, our time here is short.

"Your hand touched my hand and retreated in that desperate dark..." there's something about that line that just gets me every time. That desperate dark is such an evocative and powerful description. Amazing lyricism and songwriting.

I have a very good friend who died young in a car accident. This song takes me right there to a time to those times we spent together 50 years ago.

This is breathtakingly good. Each time i come back and listen its amazing hearing such passion in his music. Thats rare these days. Jeffery Martin is truly one of a kind.

I have loved his music for a while.. but this song hits different, so much powerful meaning in it, about how growing up 30 years ago was.. and friendship, and growth as a person.. and regret, and empathy.. wow.. love it even more in this live version.
