I usually look for mostly toys at sales like these, but that G4 Kirby Vacuum at the estate sale probably would have been a good purchase. They are build out of good solid metal materials and are built to outlast anything you might find on the shelves at retail (like those plastic dyson, shark, and modern day eureka, dirt devil, and hoover vacuums that are designed to tear up after 3 years of ownership so that the owner has to throw them away and go out and buy a new vacuum). My little brother has a kirby model number 519 (built in 1959) that works flawlessly and gets up way more dust and dirt than any of those plastic machines. All he's really had to do is replace a couple motor bearings (which are supposed to be replaced maybe every 15-20 years). Otherwise, it's been super reliable. He also has a more odern Kirby like the G4 in this video (he has a Diamond Edition Ultimate G series which has alos been a pretty reliable machine).
I didn't realize until I watched the video back that they were selling those things in the cases as bundles...Disney bundle, Star Wars bundle, etc. I think the sign on the case said SW bundle was only like $29.99. If I would have seen the dang sign, I probably would have grabbed it all for that price!
@@JPhillyRetro I don't know what to tell you now , long way from there unless you could talk to your sister in to buying it for you . Would she know what she is looking at ? God bless !!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I've been trying to control my impulse buying lol. I've never been a huge Simpsons fan, and it's honestly something I'd probably have just sold down the line anyway. Same with the Dino playset...probably should have just left that too. But I just like shopping too much lol
