I love that Brian Wilson album. His voice sounds better than it had since the early 70’s. That Byrds tour sounds amazing. Sweetheart is my favorite Byrds album. Great finds!
Hi Sam wow you do have a lot going on :). A new job I hope it is going well . I do like the CDs' you got and look at you getting a 45 :). The first Album dose look good I do have two of her Albums as well. So nice you have 3 colored Vinyl Albums wow you are doing it lol!!!! good video and Take care:).
Glad you’re enjoying that black jazz stuff (and thanks for the shoutout). Bummed I didn’t grab that Rudolph Johnson in time because that sounds right up my alley. Good to see you buying records again
I am glad you were able to get the CD from Friday Music. I remember you really wanted the record last RSD, but were concerned about sound quality. The fact your attended the concert is a good reason to get it. 😊
Sentimental Value Sam. I’m 100% with you on FM, but the cd is a must for your collection buddy. Little Richard is so good. I love a blind buy! Always good to see you my dude! 🤙🏻
Dang…you’re on a posting spree! 👍 Yeh I also have issues with Friday Music- really hit & miss results with some of their reissue efforts. I’ve also been following some of the Real Gone stuff, most recent Fanny Live on Beat Club 71-72, which is excellent! Cheers-R
Joss Stone is a great singer/She was in that short-lived Supergroup called Superheavy..which featured Joss,Mick Jagger,Bob Marley'sson. They made only one album../Recommended song.."Miracle Worker"
"Just One Look" by The Hollies is nice, but my favorite rendition is by Linda Ronstadt. I thought about getting that "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" 50th live CD, but they wanted over $35 CAN for it, before tax. And unlike you, that isn't one of my favorite albums by The Byrds. I'm sure it's good, though.
That's a good September Sam. If Little Richard wasn't already the originator, innovator & architect of rock 'n roll I would love him just for the story that he kicked a young Hendrix out of his band because Little Richard can be the only "pretty" one on stage 😂You gotta love the man. I have a few of those Frankie Stein records. Good fun. Doris Troy seems like an interesting one too. Cheers...Ben
Richard was something else! That's a cool comp, lots of great gems. Frankie Stein is fun. I'm sure you're happy to have warm weather getting closer to Aussie soil.
