Listening to aloha aina part of this video, yuh everything reasonates and I listen with much understanding knowing what is being spoken of. For this I am truly blessed. I feel blessed for being welcomed in, hanai by kanaka ohana from eastside Maui moku. All my kumu who gave me much, the history of Hawai'i especially the truth .. working in the lo'i making poi raising mountain cows, malama aina. Learning about the aina, the foods the understanding of kuleana. I was given many cultural gifts that not even the continent was able to give. Another words the richness of the culture has given me something can never get anywhere else in my life. Me ke aloha pumehana

This is a really valuable resource for me. Trying to soak into the culture a bit. Went to school in hawaii for a year. Have family roots, but they have all since moved mainland. My dream is to get out to the abandoned family property on molokai. But want it to be a conscious effort.
