I appreciate this video very much 🫶🏾. I’m a braider but I’m new to running a business. 2 years after I left college I decided to pursue becoming a braider and I’m learning that it needs structure to grow and be sustainable. This video has gone a long way in terms of the advice about niching down and getting serious about understanding my finances. I love your videos because they’re always jam packed with valuable information, thank you again for sharing this video.

This sounds exactly like my story😩🥰. My mom told me that hairstylist don't make money and that i needed to go to college. So i wasted money on not one but two degrees before resigning from my job as a claims adjuster. I also hated cosmetology school😒. I'm glad i found this video because i do everything and i need to learn how to pick a niche.

I’m glad you found your way to what you love, after the two degrees! And I’m sure those degrees have come in handy running your business, but yes…I definitely recommend finding a niche if you’re serious about scaling! You can do it!

When picking a specialty is it alright to pick 2? I love doing color, especially blonding, but I don't think I could give up doing fades and men's cuts
