This is the last episode of our Mumbai to Matheran, Lonavala journey. These locations are weekend getaway for residents of Mumbai and Pune.
We started this journey from Kalyan then traveled to Ulhasnagar then Matheran - thereafter Lonavala. During this tour we explored local food and sightseeing,.
Distance - Lonavala to Thane which is around 90 km.
Gajanan Vada Pav - This popular shop near thane railway station, we tried the vada with pav - Rs 20.
Mamledar Misal - This is another food joint in thane for its variety of Misal, Medium spicy, high spicy along with other street food.
Rs 70 - Misal pav.
Then we proceeded to Santacruz for a meetup with subscribers in juhu garden.
After that we head to the Mumbai Airport to board the flight for delhi..
It was a short 7 day tour of Maharashtra. I hope you have enjoyed this series.

I stayed at VITTHALWADI from the age of 1to 10, then from 10 to 17 kalyan, from 17 to 18 Ulhasnagar, again from 18 to 42 back to the same place at Kalyan, now from 42 to 45 I am at THANE. You are one of the favorites RU-vid presenter and glad to realize that for couple of days you were a KALYANKAR and THANEKAR.

The entire series is wonderful . Happy to know that you enjoyed vada pav & mamledar misal. I am from Thane and now a senior citizen but I am still visiting mamledar misal regularly for the last 50 years & used to eat spicy but now medium or light. Please plan a Sri Lanka tour . It's amazing country with beautiful ramayana temples, golden beaches and lovely hill stations. Plan it for 10 days

It's a great series. Initially it was like a Harish day out. But, gradually it took the serious and interesting tone reflecting Harish Bali style. Food exploration was of high priority along with meet ups. Ullasnagar Sindhi food exploration is commendable

हरीश जी दील खुश कर दीया आपने ❤️😀 गजानन वडा पाव और मामलेदार मिसल आपके विडिओ में देख कर...बचपन की यादें जुडी है गजानन वडा पाव से, तब पचास पैसे में मिला करता था लेकिन उसके पैसे भी नही हुआ करते थे। 😊 मामलेदार मिसल की तो बात ही निराली है, लंबी लाईन के बाद नंबर आने पर मिसल का स्वाद परम संतुष्टी देता था। तब चीनी मिट्टी के सोसर में मिलता था। थाने स्टेशन पर कुंज विहार रेस्टोरेंट कवर करते तो सोने पर सुहागा हो जाता। जिसका जिक्र आपने पहले भी कीया था जब आप थाने आया करते थे। दिल से धन्यवाद हरीश जी आपको 🙏🌻🌼🌾🌿 ❤️ U THANE

Please plan a North Karnataka tour as well! Lots of history, food and culture. You can visit Bijapur, Belgaum, Badami, Hampi & Dandeli! Good to travel almost throughout the year.
