Great Podcast!! As a woman, mom, and ADHD resource specliast I totally completely support this whole message! Representation matters, and male perspective matters for our boys. You guys rock. Thanks!
My son’s only successful school years have been when he’s had male teachers…and that’s only 3/10. We have struggled so much on and off over the years with grades 2-4 being pretty miserable, and grades 5-6 in a behaviour class. Thankfully he’s doing amazing now in grade 8 and finally making some friends and self regulating well at school. At home we are still having a bit of trouble and working on friendships outside of school. HOWEVER, you two have made a huge difference in my parenting in just a week since I found you and joined the ADHD membership!! I have been bingeing all your videos and episodes and I’m just sad I was so reactive at times in the past but excited at the prospect of doing better in the future and hopeful for my son as he heads into high school! Thank you both so much💕
Thank you so much, I'm really happy to hear that the content in the membership site and the podcast has been helpful to you. Keep in mind, we do the best we have at any given moment with the information and resources available to us. This is coming from a former highly, highly reactive parent.
I'm hooked on your podcast! I've read so many books in the last 10 years, and by far, this is the most informative parenting advice for kids with ADHD. You guys are the best. Thank you!
I have someone in the family who is struggling with competition. Has horrific reactions when things go bad. Seemed like they were doing better with therapy but feels like we are back to square one. What do we do?
