Amen Pastor Dale, the ministry may be learned inside the doors, but if we are to have any impact, any influence, any effect at all, the majority of the Yeoman's work is done during the week outside the church building - because the church is alive and at work in one another.

Well said Jon, the Bible is the Absolute Ruler and Measure of all we are and do. Without it, we have no direction, no insight, no guidance, no reality, no real truth.
Not surprised, unfortunately, that nobody saw the issue with not having a woman on the podcast! Surely that's not a church service and she wouldn't be exercising authority over a man.
As Pastor Curtis alludes to - the real reason for both sides here ... is mainly "discipleship" teaching men and women how to walk appropriately in the faith, representing as ambassadors of Christ
Dale says it right, identity is in Christ, not in what we do, or what we think. Yet it was entertaining to see Curtis dissect the different types of women to be addressed, w Jon so astutely asking, so how do you do this, PRAYER ... for me Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 does some it up well. In honoring Christ, we honor each other. However boys a little levity might have gone a long way here.
Pastor Dale is right on, with no vision, no leadership in place, the people fail and perish. This church teaches as advertised "people to grow" in their faith, it is not a cupcake and coffee seeker-sensitive group of preferences and opinions.

Wisely pointed out Pastor Jon - it should not be I hear Apollo but not (insert name here) - the church is stronger united in vision, mission, goal, and passion (to follow Christ) not the preferences that tickle our ears or give us what we want like an I Dream of Jeannie lamp. There is no "a la carte" gospel in following the Lord. This church provides the opportunity to nearly meet "daily" just like the church of Acts did.
I will give the boys credit here ... these are issues 40 years ago pastors in my day we did not even consider. Pastoring has come a long long way in the last 40 or 50 years. Imagine speaking the mind of how a woman thinks or feels. Only God knows such mysteries. Yet these boys fearlessly take it on. Even Kyle & Costi & Darryl all stayed out of this one, maybe from the directive of their wives, lol.
I have been listening to you three in the panel, your talking but your not saying anything, no scripture to start with, and your giving your own thoughts on what you want to say, why even raise the topic of women in the church, if your going around what you want to say,. Go straight to what bro Paul said about women in the church, yeah that will ruffle there feathers, but it's the truth, say it,but you will not all three of you are dancing around,. The truth it's not lawfull for a women to speak in the church, and a women has no authority over a man, they are the weaker vessels, they sinned and not the man, they were tempted and failed the test, that's bible, and it speaks about shamefaced, you don't see that in the church!!!!
