Nice when you have the tools ie 200 dollar enduro press and that’s just reinstalling let alone removing.i would have to tap outb5he bearings using a drift and make a home made press out of threaded bar and washers etc. let’s see that one on u tube.
Hello i have the same wheels rim ,,which campagnolo freehub should i need to buy replace it because i have a campagnolo casette 11 speed thankyou hope you answer it
Nice video 👍 How tight do you tighten the axel? I can see in the video that it seems you do it up enough to stop any movement. Is that correct or should it be tightened to a certain torque? Thanks
First of all I never found the torque spec recomment for the preload adjuster screw from Zipp MFG. if anyone know please advise. Come back to your question, It very hard to explain how should we stop to tighten screw, it about the feeling and it because I'am a bike fixing guy, so there are a lot of wheel passed my hand that mean I've got many experience to control this screw tighten. Sorry if my answer is not get your point.
There will be no torque for the preload bcoz it designed to stop axial movement for the shaft (we call it "play"), not for tightening..for high precision equipment, u can place gauge to measure axial movement. The tolerance for the movement u can check from the bearing maker..it should be around 0.01~0.05mm which u cant feel it by hand..simply said, no torque.only tightening it till snug fit with no play, but not tight. In some hub, they put some locktite (to prevent loose)
I had searching as your mention, and I still not found ZIPP 404 is capible to upgrade with sram XDR anyway, except the zipp model NSW gen2 is capible, please see below link for reference www.sigmasports.com/item/Zipp/XDR-Freehub-Body-for-Disc-Rim-Gen-2-NSW-Hub/LI3C
